Synday's game was more like the Elliott of 2016 but having 5 games of 60 or less yards doesn't speak well about not getting tackled behind or at the line of scrimmage. As far as Meyers saying he'd take the call, and I didn't hear or read that he actually said that, still is only considering the job not saying he would take the job. Lastly there has been no public statement from Jones that he has any interest in Meyers. All of the "interest" the Cowboys have in Meyers has been generated by users here which doesn't mean squat.
.
Jones cant say anything regarding a new coach while his current coach is still in first place. And yes. Meyer said he would take the call. On national television. Said it is the new york yankees and the cowboys and you take that call.

It doesn't change the fact that all the so called interest for Meyers has been from users here. It also doesn't change the facts that college coaches, regardless what they accomplished in college, as 1st time NFL head coaches have a dismal record with their first NFL teams and we have to go all the way back to 1989 and Jimmy Johnson as the last college coach as a 1st time NFL head coach to win a Super Bowl. That should be reason enough for people to stop bragging up Meyers or any other college coach.

Congratulations on formulating an actual response, I didn’t know it was possible but as usual, you’re still wrong. LOL,”EVERY single NFL analyst”, huh? It’s not universally agreed that the offense runs through Zeke, some people say that but not everyone. Please enlighten me, what games have we won only due to Zeke that we wouldn’t have won with Pollard?

Your comparison to Jerry Rice doesn’t even make sense, try again but this time use your brain.
Any response would be way over your head. How does the comparison not make any sense? Because it shows your post is bull****.

I guess in your mind, the only opinion that matters is yours. So why bother coming to a forum for opinions? Get over yourself. If you don't like the comment, then move along. Some people need to learn social skills.
And yet you keep responding! LOL

Aaron Jones was the lead back at UTEP, rushing for over 4K yards in his career, so he has shown that he can handle the load. Pollard was the change of pace back at Memphis and only had 104 rushing attempts in his entire career there. Pollard is what he is, which is a good back up running back. I happen to agree that they can get more creative in using him, but in no way should Zeke's role be reduced just to get Pollard more carries.

get the kid 10/+ rouches

how would make that work?

Who cares? Just get rid of Garrett and go from there.

If it's Urban Meyer and it doesn't work out then so be it. I'd rather shoot for greatness and fail then have a standard of mediocrity that leads to no where with JG.

This guy coaching our team can have any type of talent and destroy it with his mediocre brand of 50/50 football.

From the start, I've liked this kid. Yesterday was the icing on the cake for me.

Pollard:
12 rushes for 131 yards

Elliot:
24 rushes for 117 yards

To me, the kid is just better than Elliot. Don't get me wrong. I think Elliot is a good back (not work the big contract though). But I think Pollard gives the dynamic of the "break-away" run as evident in his TD run yesterday. If that was Elliot, he goes down or is caught from behind.

Idk of I'd call him better than Zeke..but I'd rather have him at the money he's making than Zeke at that huge pricetag.

I see you would rather have a coach that doesn't hit 500 than a coach that has a record of over 500. I've been a Garrett fan and have always felt that not all of the problems the Cowboys have had are his fault, but it's clear that this will be his last year in Dallas and my only hope is the Cowboys don't go with a college coach because their record as 1st time NFL head coaches is so dismal. I hope they select a coach with much higher odds of being successful.

Lol if you think every analyst thinks the offense runs through Zeke you've watched the wrong two or three analysts. They're morons.

Lmao. Wow. Pollard has one good game. Elliott has had a great career for now 4 years., Good lord.

Because Pollard could be an effective 1000 yard 10 TD runner for us and I'd rather use Zeke's gigantic contract towards fielding a complete and deep roster?

And we have had Dak on the cheap but now his contract and Cooper’s will take up a lot more cap space(although cap is going up).
