From the start, I've liked this kid. Yesterday was the icing on the cake for me.

Pollard:
12 rushes for 131 yards

Elliot:
24 rushes for 117 yards

To me, the kid is just better than Elliot. Don't get me wrong. I think Elliot is a good back (not work the big contract though). But I think Pollard gives the dynamic of the "break-away" run as evident in his TD run yesterday. If that was Elliot, he goes down or is caught from behind.

Am I the only one who realizes that without Zeke pounding the defense into submission pollard doesn’t get that lane to run thru? Why does it always have to be he’s better then him. They compliment each other. It’s simple. Also. I think it’s apparent you didn’t see that when Zeke was in the rams sold out to stop the run. When pollard came on in the second half the rams were lined up against the pass. It’s night and day the difference in how the rams played when pollard was in.

I love pollard he brings a different element but if he’s your main back he’s out by week 3.

I do support more carries . Yesterday the line blocked with a purpose like they used to and if that continues zeke will continue to put up positive numbers

I don't believe that Zeke wore them down. They knew Dallas would be running the ball at the end of the game yet they couldn't contain Pollard. They were still playing to win the game, as evident of the stupid 2 point conversions when they had absolutely no chance of winning with 3 minutes to play. Pollard to me just seems to have better vision, better balance and definitely more speed.

He's got some skill for sure. But I think he'd break in half if we ever tried to put him in a full time role. And this offense needs a consistent grinder.

Zeke is a complete back and a beast. Pollard will never be able to do the things he does because he just doesn't have the body for it. Notice how the offense typically stalls when he's in for Zeke because he's not getting those 5 and 6 yd runs. He played great today, but let's not fool ourselves--game was over in the third quarter

I like Pollard better myself, but Zeke is a better fit for this team. Because when the defense gets over exposed, we lose. Zeke grinds the clock. Moore just has to remember to feed Zeke.

You heard it here first.

What makes Pollard so quick is his limited usage. He's not built for pounding him into the line 25 times per game and would be less effective.

They do need to use him like yesterday, though. Some weeks they've barely used him at all.

And when he gets stopped because he’s too slow or can’t make defenders miss then what?

Don't believe that for a second. Zeke likes to take on the defense. He's not a guy who looks for the gaps to squeeze through. He bulls his way through which is why he doesn't break away much. Zeke won't last as long as his contract is. He'll be burned out in a couple of years with the pounding he's taking. Longevity is not on the side of guys who take hits. Earl Campbell is a good example of that.

I'm really not sure what team you've been watching.

That's when creative play calling and you're franchise QB comes in to play.
And he didn’t do anything Pollard couldn’t do which is proven by the stats but Jerry over paid him because he acted like the diva baby he is.
