“Possible scenarios” was not made up. Blame Rapaport, Philly news, and Dr. Chao for bringing those up about him being listed as doubtful and having a possible rotator cuff injury. I’m just putting it out there that it’s a possibility. Rather you like it or not, it is. A very small possibility, yes, but still a possibility. I never said it was career threatening now did I? I said HE MAY NOT COME BACK THE SAME. I compared him to Newton. Never once did I say career threatening. That’s stupid.

Btw, in the clip posted. Rapoport says nothing about a torn rotator cuff or any structural damage, does not once equate Dak’s injuries to Cam’s injury and doesn’t once say anything about it being a long term injury.

he really just says nobody knows how effective he will be for Sunday.

so again, comparing his injury to Cam’s and potential long term effects is just nonsense.

I’m not hoping for a damn injury. Now that’s drama. Who in the hell hopes for an injury? I guess mattjames and shabazz are hoping for an injury as well? Just because we aren’t buying this scenario as the ONLY scenario, doesn’t mean we’re hoping for injury. I’m speculating. I’m sure he’s fine, I’m just saying.
You post a lot more negative than positive things. Not just about Dak about the team in general. Your posting history even when sharing tweets is always about negative or internal problems. All those players that came to the defense of Dak and called him a warrior etc. You didnt seem to post that. But a doctor whos credibility is shot you somehow managed to post about? Come on man. You want there to be something wrong. Because you. Like some other people here would rather be right then see the team succeed.

Here's a new nightmare scenario for everyone.

Dak doesn't play, we lose and miss the playoffs, and Garrett gets an extension because his starting QB was injured.

Likely? No. Possible? Yes

Thought the same but we were still 7-7 with him so not sure they can sell that

Totally.

I think Jerry has mentally moved in and is excited about a new name to sell to fans.

But he is loyal to a fault. And who knows what he'll do

I think you are right. You can see Jerry giving a 2 year extension claiming Dak's injury and the mean old Rod Marinelli ruined the season. A 2 year extension will allow Jason to fulfill his destiny but not make the fan base too crazy (Jerry's thoughts). This way Jerry can sign him to another 5 year extension.

Lol

Dak would need to be dead or not able to throw at all to not play.

Even then, you just run and throw short.

he’s playing because we aren’t winning with Cooper rush

I don’t think you guys realize the extent of this injury. He may not come back the same, especially if it turns out to be his rotator cuff. Did you guys see what happened to Cam Newton after his shoulder injury? Cam was always “questionable” and everyone said “he’s a warrior, he’ll play.” And he never played in the latter half of that season....Rapaport is usually right when it comes to stuff like this.

We’re playing with fire here.
Wow! Just Wow!

You are a dramatic person aren't you?

It seems that every post you make is a sky is falling post. Do you even enjoy this sport and following a team? I'm not trying to be mean. You seem like a good dude.

Dak threw for over 200 yards and 2 TD's after his injury.
The MRI was negative. This rules out any tears.

I think you need to relax a little. The guy will play and he will be fine.

I’m sure he’s fine. I’m just putting out the possibilities and adding in what else has been said by outside “sources”. Also, we aren’t sure if they injury happened on that play or not. Some say it happened on the fumble in the 4Q that Dak recovered. I’m at fine and relaxed. I’m sure Dak will play, since he said it himself, I’m just saying.

Let me ask you something. Have you taking into account the actual "outside" sources you're listening too? Philly radio who obviously doesnt want Dak playing. And Dr. Chao who was basically run out of town and almost lost his licence. Come on friend.

I can hear Garrett now, "I like how Dak kept the fight alive even though he couldn't go, and we almost made the playoffs! I'm proud to announce Jerry and I have agreed to a great groundbreaking contract that keeps me here through 2030".

That happens. Grrr.. I mean it wouldn't , but, who knows with the drunk old guy at the wheel. But, if that did happen. I think I'd be out. Done.

That's rich if you think the coaching staff if so overly concerned here.Come gametime they will want the best 22 on the field. All reports are that yes there's an injury but they believe hell be ok. The coaching staff will be more than fine with giving him a shot and sending him trotting out there to screw up the coin toss and play.

I don't mean to sound like the staff don't care about the athletes but lets be real here there is example after example of staff running out the starter even if there are ? marks. Especially if there are more ? marks with the guy waiting in the wings

We all know in the past that kind of thing was rampant, but to send a franchise QB to POSSIBLY do more damage to a throwing shoulder and not feel it because of the injection seems foolhardy, when we have an Pro Bowl O-line, a franchise RB and a backup QB that should be able to throw with a limited game plan of throws. and BTW, do we think Dak is anxious to tear up a shoulder further IF its injured in the midst of a contract year?

There are many factors and ifs in this situation and we truly dont know the true extent of the injury

The fact that the MRI was negative means its mostly just a pain tolerance thing and inflammation. He has been getting cortisol injection to reduce inflammation and the pain will be numbed by a strong pain killer.

Dak is in the last year of his contract. If their was a real risk of increasing the injury I can't see any way in the world he would be playing.

I apologize about Dr. Chao. I didn’t know that. I just read that he worked with the Chargers and “resigned”. The Philly radio think was more of a far fetched “source”.

That "DR" said Jaylon Smith would never play football again. This is a guy who has no inside knowledge of anything. Its not like Dak's MRI's are public. You cant post that it could be the end for Dak based off of these people. Thats i think why you got some others riled up lol.

That reporter seems to miss the mark on quite a bit of his Cowboys reports. Dak is playing, and the only thing is will JG pull Dak if he isn't helping the offense.

Philly radio also said he was doubtful. They know more than they are letting on. This whole situation is fishy. I don’t know who to trust. Dak is questionable to play, but is likely a game time decision. It’d be stupid to tell the Eagles that Dak isn’t playing. They have to prepare for Dak and Cooper Rush now.

I don't think the Eagles will spend much time preparing to face Cooper Rush.
