Has everyone finally come to terms on Dak?

Dak is running the offense Garrett created for Romo in 2007. It literally has not changed. Unlike other teams who install an offense to cater to their QB, we do not. When Romo went down in 2015, every backup ran his exact offense. No adjustments at all.

We are not utilizing his strengths at all.

What strengths would those be? He has the option to run on a lot of plays, but opts not to.

Parcells had Quincy Carter playing a lot better during the 2003 season.

And see if the Cowboys can sign both Dak ($25M a year) and Cooper ($15M a year) for Dak’s $40M a year asking price.

I love Dak Prescott..Dak has made enough money through endorsements and the $2 million he made this season from his play on the field should be enough to never play for Jerry Jones ever again. He shouldn't play this week so that his shoulder AND broken pinky finger on his THROWING hand(injury the national media has forgotten about all of a sudden) can properly heal. His agent should inform Jerry that if he attempts to put the franchise tag on Dak he is willing to sit out the entire year. The Commanders, Bears, Chargers, and Buckaneers would all park a Brink's truck outside of Dak's house I'm sure.

Im afraid the market may dictate otherwise. Hopefully there isn't a desperate team convinced Dak is the answer. Hopefully a team like the Pats doesn't pursue Coop. Remember it only takes one.

Tag Dak and find a way to get Coop into a deal that works or a deal that allows us to trade him and be compensated.

With this reasoning we should have cut Romo after his first season. Dak Prescott is not elite and might never be, but he is a serviceable QB and those are just as hard to find. Now if you don’t want to pay him franchise him and let him play another year. Let whOever takes over from the red menace evaluate Dak. I personally would like to see what this offensive group looks like under a compentent HC and an OC who doesn’t have training wheels.

This doesn’t make sense regarding Romo after his first season starting I hope you’re talking about otherwise you sound even worse. I’m nit surprised though most of you people are led by emotions smh

Last time I checked our wideouts played like trash last week. They dropped a bunch of passes. Dak isn't Johnny Unitas. He did more than enough to get the ball to the guys. THEY FAILED HIM. Not the other way round. Dak is better than 90% of the NFL QB's out there.

Umm, no. He's solidly 15 ish. The receivers were trash, but he made plenty of terrible throws.

exactly. Think about it...the team would revolt in mass and it would be very hard to attract free agents next offseason if we let Dak walk. It would be total chaos. Think about just how hard it is to find a decent QB in this league. We act like spoiled brats on here sometimes. Do we realize how blessed we are to have found another stud QB? Dak gives us our best chance to win the next 10 years. That means we need to maximize his talents by getting some damn coaches in here. Greg Roman would be a good choice..or Mike McCarthy. Urban Meyer..yes..but he has health risks.

To me, "elite" means someone who makes the players around him look better than they are. Dak doesn't do that.

That’s what elite means to most people outside of when people trying to be conveniently obtuse. Dak hasn’t really made anybody look better and if anything done made most look worse than they ever have. I’ll keep saying with Dak if you have to mention “intangibles” over actual on the field play that makes him good how good is he really? That goes for any player too not just Alex Smith Jr

Dak gives great interviews. He would make a great politician. Clear eyes, answers fast, talks fast, tells you want to hear.

It’s just that nobody believes him. He can’t even get onto his own teammates because he is the worst player on the offense. What’s he gonna do, tell Zach Martin or zeke to get their s together as he misses 6 yard checkdowns? Gtho

Wentz still had to make the throws. Pederson isn't out there making those spectacular TD throws Wentz made in back to back weeks.
