Have to resign him. Can’t let yet another 1st round draft pick walk out the door

That should not factor into it at all. You don’t throw good money after bad. You move on and make better decisions moving forward. Now, if he accepts a reasonable deal and the new coach wants him, then fine but in no way do I make him a top 3 paid WR. He didn’t earn that and wouldn’t get it in Dallas.

Keep Cobb let Gallup continue to grow. Sign a veteran to fill out the starters and I’d be content.

Amari is terribly inconsistent and seems to lack a passion for the game. Yes, we spent a first rounder on him, but oh well.

If we have decisions on who to pay, it’d make the numbers easier to swallow by letting Cooper walk. To me, he just isn’t worth the $18-20 million he’s gonna want.

We should have been playing and developing Devin Smith all year. I don't know why they hate him so.

Everyone wants a “reasonable deal”. He is a top talent. Pay him or accept mediocre talent. We tried that last year and the results were pretty horrible.

I’m not for signing Cooper as well. He faded in games we had to have it. I can’t have a #1guy for $16 mil a year who doesn’t show up on the road in big ones. What’s the point of him being a #1 in that case? I say move on from that, save money and put it elsewhere for new HC to use.

Tagging him and dak alone would tie up like 48 mil of the 94 mil in cap space. Plus they'd have 24 other positions to still fill with the money left.

Who knows how much more they can get in restructures.

he decided, like dak, to take a chance on himself and not sign a deal, think a stellar performance would up his value. but it backfired. dak did far more to enhance his value. the rise of gallup might be another block for cooper's desire for megabucks.

He deserves better than this team.
No he doesn't,. The team deserves better than Amari. We gave up way much for a dang quitter, soft!!! Bad attitude! Get rid of this disease. This is not the kind of mindset you need in a game that demands everything you got. He's got more left in his tank than what he put out on the field. Men don't quit like this! This is a spoiled child.
