This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The losses all lead up to this. Today’s the day our suffering ends. Let’s goooo :flagwave:!

Ha!

That's like having terminal cancel & celebrating having a cavity removed and then proclaiming you're healed.

The cancer is metastasized throughout the entire organization and isn't going anywhere

The new coach will be but a mere distraction until the realization sets in that nothing has really changed

Why can all these other teams announce their coach is gone but the Dallas Cowboys have to wait until the end of the day to announce their decision?

They are always late to everything.

They are late to letting a player go and it looks like they'll be the same way with their coach.

How about getting out ahead of things for a change.

Give Rich Dalryple a break Catch. He’s old.

He's being treated respectfully and being allowed to address the team.

He knows his fate at this point. Everyone does.

Geez, people complain about how Landry got let go but if Garrett gets treated respectfully, it is somehow a huge issue.

People don't like Garrett, much. Most people here anyways.

I’m terrified we are gonna read of an extension and Jerry gets up to talk with tears in his eyes about what a great man Garrett is...... the players love him dearly and play hard for him ya da ya da ya da

and how he is going to stay here for the next 5 years
wow I shed a tear reading this. there goes my sanity if this were to happen.

I think ol' Dandy Don actually used to sing "Turn out the lights...the part's over" to signify the end.
used both, watched a lot of MNF in the day, turn out the lights was one of his favorites he sang that one.

~Garrett pulls into his parking space at the Star~

~Looks to his left and sees Urban Meyer pull up next to him.~

~Their eyes meet in a moment of awkward silence~
Except Jerry doesn't need a stadium so the name on that parking space is probably Art Briles or Jeff Fisher. You know, any of 500 coaches.

I've said this through the years, this team is a day late and a dollar short

Doesn’t make sense (which is normal in Dallas) to meet with Jason after the team meeting. Are they gonna take a poll?

This all seems calculated. JJ probably doesn't want his players to hear about letting JG go like what happened with Jimmy.
