I won't believe that. If Garrett had a thirst for winning he would go coaching somewhere else and try to win titles, college or pros. To take a different job for Jerry means Garrett never cared about winning.

Don't laugh.....(lol) This wouldn't surprise me at all. Remember Jerry once said Jason would be a top candidate if he left the Cowboys. I could him firing all assistant and give Jason the power and money to go hire his own defensive and offensive coordinators. The delay now is Jason calling around seeing if he can get who he wants.

At the end of the day, Jerry is only screwing himself if he doesn't blow this whole thing up. He's the one who's 77, not me.

A super bowl is gonna require a rebuild and he has just enough time left. If he wastes another year+ thinking Garrett is almost there then he will never see the day when the Cowboys finally turn it around. It will be left to someone else to fix and enjoy.

His legacy will be that of an old fool who got used to losing.

If Garrett is leaving, i want to know. We can then start wondering about whos coming in, but we're in limbo, and it's not looking good, it rarley does. If this ends with Garrett remaining HC well then just announce it and get it over with.

Really have no idea. But I’ve been listening to Jerry the last 25 years or so and have learned Jerry speak. He’s got his guy already.
