Saying Jerry has no respect for longtime fans is simply speculation. Besides, aren’t we always complaining about Jerry talking? Other owners aren’t front and center...
His actions in this situation tell me Jerry has no respect for die hard fans. I don’t want Jerry to blather on, just deny or confirm Werder’s report. Doesn’t Jerry realize diehard fans REALLY want closure on this situation?

ESPN wouldn’t have long segments on Garrett being gone if it wasn’t true.

Garrett is gone. We don’t need Jerry or Stephen to officially tell the world right now.

Think about the huge credibility hit to espn if this weren’t accurate.
I agree ESPN would take a credibility hit, but nothing is final until Jerry confirms or denies. We definitely do need Jerry to confirm or deny!!!

I find it ironic that fans are *****ing and moaning that Jerry suddenly became a mute this week. Only, last week fans are *****ing and moaning that he was talking too much to the media. As long, as, he has the media and fans caring about the team 24/7, unfortunately nothing will change within this organization. Only when apathy set in within the fan base then real change will happen.

We should start talking about something else. This is going nowhere. And quite frankly, it's boring.

I'll start.

I'm going to see TOOL live on Jan 22nd with my Son-In-Law. You guys only wish you were me. I have an appt. next week to update my will just in case it kills me.

Yes! Ive seen Tool more than 20 times, 3 times in 2019. I had no luck with tix for this Dallas show the morning they went on sale...my fingers are crossed I can snag some last minute without paying too much. Enjoy the show!

I think some fans(not necessarily me) think that he speaks about the wrong things, that don’t help the team,(like who’s healthy who will start etc) and then when he has a chance to say the team is progressing and moving on with the business of getting a new coach he drags his feet and oddly remains coy.

Their entire stance on Garrett being fired is (they even state it) Werder's tweet. That is it. They have cited no other sources. Neither has anyone else. Not one single outlet has another source...and Werder wasn't as definitive if you read the tweet.

It's not like ESPN hasn't been wrong in the past. It's most likely true that Garrett is gone, but it's not official yet. I wouldn't put it past Jerry to bring Garrett back now just to stick it to the media after they all reported that he's gone without official word.

So my hope stays contained until I hear it from Garrett, Jerry, or Stephen.

Big time risk they are taking. If JG is gone it may be that JG asked to complete his contract and out of respect JJ allowed him to. Honorable on both sides. Especially if his replacement is in the loop. They won’t tell the staff because of leaks. They are the ones getting screwed, if he is gone the 14th the staff lost time that could be used looking for other work but if you think about it JG told them they are welcome to look for other work. Not what you tell staff that you want to retain. Hmmm.

Day 6 of the hostage standoff at the The Star in Frisco.

SWAT team members preforming a wellness check reported no activity except for the speaker system booming out Whitney Houston’s “I will always love you “
Stay tuned

What I’m tired of is the tweets regarding “much respect to JG” or “nice guy” tweets. Yes he was but he failed at his job. For all I heard Rich Kotite snd host of coaches from the 70s until now were nice and didn’t coach well enough. Let’s get this done.
