Packers fans hate McCarthy for pretty much the exact same reasons we hate Garrett. Things like automatically punting on 4th and 2 past midfield, same predictable play calls for a decade with little innovation, etc. He has said he’s embraced analytics in his time off. We’ll see.

Meyer is the only coach I want from the NCAA. The other guys just got killed in their bowl games. I dont think we would hire Meyer because hes going to want player control and we know Jerry prob wont give that up.

it would also mean those under contract here are not staying if McCarthy is hired.
