I think this whole forum is crazy if they think Jerry wouldn't throw everything, and I mean everything to get Bill.

There's a difference between giving up control to someone like Parcells vs Bill. Bill is arguably the best to ever do it. I'd give the guy the keys to my house while I'm at it.

I completely dismissed this idea up until recently. I think Brady is finally done and if Bellichick wants to keep coaching I could see him being interested in coming here. Pats have basically no offense left. I would totally stoked if BB came here. He does things his way. Would be similar to a Parcells hire imo.

Having not made a call yet on Garrett the clapper tells me the coach/guy he wants is still coaching and the rumors on a few other message boards is that JJ is heavily invested in Bill Bellichick but as we all know his Pats are playing in the WC games this weekend.

Whether or not it happens is anyones guess but i would be surprised if JJ goes the untried route/or collegiate level coach with the current roster we have. Jones and Bellichick go back a fair way and by no means are strangers at all and when BB was leaving the Browns in 1995 he approached JJ for a job as his first port of call but JJ had already committed to Switzer after his SB triumph from memory and then BB went to the Pats and the rest is history.

Now this is by no means fact that he is chasing BB but stranger things have happened before and nearly everyone knows the Pats are not winning another SB anytime soon with old man Brady getting older every day.

Lots to play out here regarding our next coach IMO and watch this space.

Some people have suggested that you even get on the phone and call Nick Saban whether or not he would laugh at it or even take the phone call you at least have to make the phone call I would agree with that the most he could do is say no

Why would Belichick want to work for an owner with no trust in the abilities of his coaching staff to do the job he has paid them to do?

Belichick is the culture buster that we need, but I don't see why he would do it unless he really really wants a lot of money. The difference between the approach Kraft takes and Jones takes is like night and day.

Yeah, the difference being Belichick is pretty much Coach/GM. Jerry is not giving that up while he can still do it.
