Wentz isn't an elite QB. I get it. He is in the same division and from the same draft class as Dak but the fact that the two of them are comparable isn't particularly a good thing. Even if you have Dak as better . . . who the hell cares?

Compare Dak to Rodgers or Mahomes or Jackson or Brees or Wilson, etc. Hell, should probably add people like Watson, Garroppolo too. You won't like the comparison.

Side note: QBR has to be the dumbest stat in the universe. Watson was 20/25 for 247 yards with 1 TD and 0 Int in his win. He also rushed for a TD and got 55 yards on 14 carries. His QBR was below 50 (which means the stat said that he was a below average QB for the game).

You can use any stats to bolster an argument, as you just did. Stay strong my friend.

Wentz isn’t cut from that cloth.

That game against philly wasn't a must win for Dak, that's why week 17 mattered. For Wentz it was a must win game though or Dallas won the division week16.

Wentz on the other hand:

Carson Wentz is the first QB to throw for 4,000 yards without a single WR hitting 500 yards.

Along the way this season, Wentz lost his WR1, WR2, WR3, TE1, RB1 & RB2.

Finished the season w a CFB QB as his WR1 & a 5'6" 6th rd RB as RB1.

Do you know how many of those yards were YAC? Wentz does a good job of throwing short and letting his guys make plays.

Wentz has a little better arm but I think Dak has more intangibles. Seems like a better leader and stays healthy.

Got them to the play offs with scrubs around him, Dak folded like a cheap tent when one Oline guy was missing , and did you forget the WR's he couldn't hit, maybe you should remember that.

Wentz did what he need to do, but the praise Wentz has received for his last 4 games is basically the same praise that Dak got for the first 3 games. Wentz played the Giants, Skins, Cowboys, Skins. I give more credit to good coaching by Peterson. He wouldn't even be in the playoffs if we had better coaching.

Don't disagree, but he did it with scrubs, that's the praise part, unfortunately Dak was a no show against better teams this year, and we all know what he did with limited talent around him years past. The team was put on Dak shoulders this year and it was a failed experiment. Mediocre is not what fan want and that is what this year was.

Wentz had a team that did win a superbowl and had a losing record last year and this season had a losing record after losing to the dolphins and got 4 straight games to end the season against all division opponents......2 of which were the 2nd and 4th worst teams in the league.

About the talent of the cowboys this season, they quit on Garrett and wasn't even close to living up to their talent. Blaming Dak solely for that is foolish

Dallas didn't get knockout week 16 against the eagles. It came down to week 17 do no it wasn't a playoff game.

Not only that you keep blaming Dak for this season which is foolish. The entire team quit on Garrett, they didn't even try at all.

It's a sad individual that reveals in a player getting speared and knocked out of a game. Not to worry Dak was safe at home with out a play off game.

Dak killed a OC, a HC and maybe a second OC. Dak failed to produce against good teams this year it's just the way it is, you give him the credit when he wins but his failures you over look. See what happens next year but if the Offense centers around Dak do not expect much better results.
