what I love about this hire is it appears Jerry let MCCarthy hire a guy he wants.
This is a good sign. Maybe McCarthy will be allowed to keep 1 testicle at least.

Nolan has had some great defenses and some really bad ones. I have no idea what to think at this point outside of a hope for a big man in the middle of the DL finally. I still have nightmares about Nick Hayden and Marinelli talking him up.

Aggressive defenses tend to be like that
When you have the players you can dominate an offense but you are playing a ton of man so vulnerable to the big play
Personally I think our DB’s are better in man than zone
