I’ve been mostly right about Jerry for over 2 decades. It’s still yet to be seen if this decision will work out any better than his last surprise with Bill.

You can’t say fans who had hoped for 25 years Jerry might finally make a better decision were right. Lol

Everyone has been right about Jerry. Yet you got it wrong regardless when the exact same scenario played out for you when Bill was hired.

Not talking about other fans. Talking about you saying Jerry would hire another puppet.

dead wrong

In the end the toxic atmosphere overcame better coaching. And it probably will again.

And why I’m excited about this hire. It will most likely prove our issues aren’t coaching alone. Much like Bill did.

Wasted topic! Belichick is still under contract and Dak is the quarterback.

And this hire of Mike is similar to that of Bill in that Jerry’s puppet situation had exhausted the fan base forcing Jerry to go against his comfort zone.

I’m pleased about it. But this notion I said it’d never happen is a poor characterization. And I’m still not sold it’s going to bring the results we’re all wanting.

But I guess we will be a more satisfied fan base knowing we have better coaching that still can’t get us to the SB. Lol

He attempted to. And I felt for years was making progress. In the end it wasn’t enough and a change was needed.

he sucked. The culture sucked. The only progress was McClay and the draft.
McClay was promoted in Garretts first year of HC. And the better drafts begun in Garretts tenure. All coincidences of course.

The culture had improved so much that last year we had fans who actually thought Jerry was taking a lesser role.

Which was Garretts greatest asset. His influence over Jerry not his field generalism.

All we needed was more success in the playoffs. In the end he came up short.

It was an unknown at the time and based on recent history quite a stretch to believe otherwise. The fact he made a better decision favoring hope some fans have had for decades doesn’t mean they were right all along. And it’s yet to be proven it will be enough.

It’s like saying I know someday you’ll quit drinking but it doesn’t happen for 25 years. Yea, you were finally right. Too bad he wasted a lifetime or generation waiting to prove it. Lol

Not at all. Will was already on the staff . But he wasn’t promoted until 2011.

No, won’t miss him. I supported because I didn’t believe we had better options based on recent history.

I’d always maintained if I thought we’d hire a greater HC and let him have control I’d fire Jason.

Garrett as I described was my favorite Puppet and I thought the perfect puppet for Jerry. In many ways it was a mockery of Jerry’s ways.

think you making this all too personal. Jerry Jones has his history of puppets, and many of us felt that it doesn't matter who the coach is if it is a puppet of another name. I mean many of us have lived through Jerry questionable coaches choice. I mean who remembers Jerry picking Chan Gailey when the big fish in the sea available back then was George Seifert. Not saying that with hindsight that Seifert would of been the right choice given how he did with the panthers. But that was the first sign that Jerry doesn't bring in the big whale of a coach and instead brings in somebody you never expect. And it was the start of the puppet show around here. And sure, every once in awhile jerry throws a curve ball and gets a Parcells, but that certainly isn't the norm. He gets the puppet more often than not. I mean if you're a gambling man, and you have to guess, it makes sense to put your money on puppet over reputable name, if you have to bet.

Look, another Garrett lover. He failed, your love was misplaced, and a real coach has been hired.

don’t make excuse, just admit you were dead wrong about all of it. It’s not like people like me didn’t tell you over and over again.

You defended Garrett as if he was doing a great job. It was pathetic and ridiculous. You looked foolish doing it then and you look foolish now.
Admit you were wrong and be a man.

You really enjoy playing the village idiot. LOL

We haven't been having this discussion for 25 years. We discussed who would be hired after Garrett. I was right and you were wrong. Simple.

And I remind you again, that Parcells was some 14 to 15 years ago. So again your 25 year claim is as foolish as most of your predictions.

But lets go over the dumb things you have gotten wrong already with McCarthy in just the last 24 hours:

Diehard claims:

"McCarthy may be just another puppet, remains to be seen"

Well...……….Jones has given McCarthy full autonomy to hire his entire coaching staff. Already you are being proven dead wrong. Anyone with half a brain anyway would know that McCarthy is the anti Garrett in every way. Far from any kind of puppet

"McCarthy was retired"

He has been out of work for a total of ONE year and turned down several jobs when he was fired. Has used the last year perfecting his craft and updating his offense and studying for the next job. He has basically been waiting for a great job to open up. NOT retired. LOL

"McCarthy has not been heavily recruited"

As I said, he turned down two jobs last year, one being the Bucs. He has also spoken with 5 teams this year already for a head coaching job. Another dumb comment that has been proven dead wrong.

I see you will continue to play the role of the fool even after the horrid Garrett is gone.:clap::clap::clap:

As usual you rely on attempting to discredit the messenger with personal attacks and insults which suggest troll like behavior.

I have been discussing this for 25 years and over 12 years on these forums. You’ve only been following the last year so you still haven’t grasped my angle in all of this.

My support of Garrett didn’t revolve around his coaching ability. You still continue not to grasp my reasoning of support for Jason time after time.

You can continue attempting to discredit me with personal insults but I’m relentless and will vigorously make every attempt to voice my beliefs.
