What part of this will not be a Dak debate did you not understand? Let me know so I can repeat it.

P.S. Dak already has more playoff wins than Wentz.

When a QB demands the largest salary on a team and consumes the largest portion of your salary cap and touches the ball on every offensive play, in a thread about his contract whether to franchise or give him a long term contract, it's always about whether that Quarterback has the ability to lead your team to a Superbowl, it's always about the quarterback in the NFL.. what part of that isn't clear to you, the nonsense is stating it's not a Dak debate!!

Yea it was all his fault
I think it's unfair to put all the praise/blame on the QB.

However, when Dallas has performed well as a team, 90% of people give Dak credit. So I think it's fair that when Dallas underperforms, those same people should give him a fair share of the blame. Wentz had less talent than Dak did this year and got his team to the playoffs. That's a fact.

Another fact is Wentz has completed just 3 passes in the playoffs, got hurt, and has no playoff wins yet Dak already has a win, thats another fun fact.

1 win this year against a team with a winning record, no I don't think so...
You have to realize some like the person you quoted are fans of Dak for non football reasons. They want him to be better than the average player he is. They think paying him more will do that for some strange reason but don't realize if he was sooo awesome he wouldn't be this polarizing on his on field play. Everybody isn't a "hater" but I'm sure that's what some will use with no proof to back it up.

Yep never see these same pro Dak fan boys mention that give credit stuff when Dak getting all the credit. I haven't heard a person say that once but now he can get no blame heck outta here.

just franchise him, make him prove he's worth a long term deal first
That plan worked out so well with DLaw, lol.
QB contracts only go one direction, up.
Team isn't going to him up on him before 2 full seasons at the worst so just sign him now and get it over with.
Then you can leverage other guys like Cooper/Jones.

I’m assuming you are referring to me a the fan of Dak for “non football reasons”’. I want to hear your assumption of why you think I’m a fan of Dak outside the football field?

NO, giving him a long term deal and Dak's only successful when all the parts are around him is worse, and you're stuck with an albatross contract around the franchse for years....One win in 2019 against winning teams isn't franchise quarterback material to me, doesn't mean he can't be but he isn't there yet!
Prepare to be disappointing.
The dude is getting a new contract. Its time some people just accept it and move on.

O God and Heavenly Father, Grant to us the serenity of mind to accept that which cannot be changed; courage to change that which can be changed, and wisdom to know the one from the other, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

the jones need to get Prescott signed. I do not think he has anything else to prove. he is not worth top five money but he is a top 15 qb in the nfl. both sides need to settle on a contract that helps Prescott and the team and get it done.

If Stephen pays Dak $35 million per year on a long term contract, you can kiss the next half decade goodbye.
I also agree with this number also. need to sign Prescott that is fair to him and also does not cripple the team in the next five years.

Notice not one team has talked to Meyer.
I think the problem is that no team really know that meyer is serious about coaching in the nfl. or maybe meyer does not want to committ to what it will take to be a headcoach again.
