You might as well give up and find a new team. With Dak as the designated QB of the future, I just found out the Cowboys hopes for ring #6 have died for the next decade, and I'm still at it.
Some wordsmith you are....
Let’s hope so!Not by any means do I much into what TO has to say, but.....
"Owens said the reason he believes Jones isn’t sold on Prescott because of the contract situation going on between the quarterback and the Cowboys.
“He hasn’t extended Dak’s contract,” Owens said of Jerry Jones. “So, that leads me to believe he truly doesn’t believe in Dak. If he had, then I think he would have already got a contract extension.”
It’s worth pointing out that reports indicate Prescott will be secured via the franchise tag this offseason while he and the Cowboys continue to try and pound out a long-term extension. That being said, given the other options out there this coming spring in free agency, one wonders if the Cowboys could potentially be looking elsewhere."

Owens is correct as if Jerry believed in Prescott he would be a richer man today!
The spring will bring a new reality for Dak....Time to take out the Garbage!

And, by the way, you should show proper respect for Neil Peart
I don’t understand how any rationale person out there can hear the Jones’s gush over Dak and not bekieve he’s absolutely they’re guy.
We're talking in relation to other qb's in the nfl and the majority of the better ones haven't had to go through this. I mean isn't Cousins like the only one in recent me memory where this was even a thing? What you're saying sounds good but relative to the other qb's it looks like regardless of what they say they don't truly believe it.What makes sense to some doesn't to others. We're talking about a deal that will be in excess of 100 million with much of it guaranteed. What I've seen in my experience in high level negotiations is they take time.
Many more i's to dot and t's to cross. They got him for cheap this year. Why rush to pay 15 times more. That's what wouldn't make sense to me.
Off the field reasons is the answer because 2016 is years ago. I could see it in 2016 but in 2020? Nope. That's why I figure they just rooting for Vanilla Ice because he's "nice" and they want to see him succeed and that one seemingly fluke season now.Dak seems to be respected like a God by some on this forum and by other fans. What exactly has he done to warrant this “God-like” praise? Why do people get so defensive when they criticize Dak? Makes no sense to me.
ownership is sold on dak. they just don't want to pay him what he's demanding.
I don’t understand how any rationale person out there can hear the Jones’s gush over Dak and not bekieve he’s absolutely they’re guy. There’s just simply been too many moving pieces this past offseason, coupled with Dak pushing for a shorter deal to reach an agreement, and really no particular reason to worry about it.

Funny thing to say about TO. Jones gushed about him til the moment he showed him the door.
Nor should they. Not even close.ownership is sold on dak. they just don't want to pay him what he's demanding.

Good points. But looks like dak is trying to set a new standard for salaries. We're talking in relation to other qb's in the nfl and the majority of the better ones haven't had to go through this. He turned down 33.5 million. So it would seem obvious he's seeking more. And please, don't consider me an expert just because one other said I was. I remain as humble as always. What is Dak demanding since you seem to be an expert.
He won't be embarrassed by his new salary.Nor should they. Not even close.
How about it. He's a Dak hater. Why all of a sudden is he so obsessed with our young quarterback?! Hey TO, "He's my quarterback"! Touche'Shut the hell up Owens
