Jimmy G is already a more accurate passer than Dak and his decision making will improve when he too has 4 years of starter experience. Better passer than Jackson ? Dak throws mostly above, behind, and in the dirt. Every once in a while he throws accurately. So no, Dak is not a better passer than Jackson. All the QB’s in the playoffs are BETTER than Dak except maybe Tannehil and Cousins. Dak’s stats are mostly empty stats from blowouts of bad teams. Can he drive the bus ? Maybe. But with inconsistency and inaccuracy, he plays like a 4th round QB. Maybe he can be consistently accurate in a West coast offense throwing 6-8 yard passes. We’ll see. But Elite ? Nah, he’s a slightly better Cousins or Tannehill
Jimmy G is not accurate. He’s a turnover machine who won’t throw until the receiver is wide open. If Kittle and Samuel weren’t big tackle breakers Jimmy would look even more average. Stop the madness.

By contrast to how it has changed since Aikman played, Mahomes has almost half the TD's that Aikman did in his career in 2 seasons.
Staubach TD and stats are laughable compared to this era.

If we can’t establish HOF as Elite then the definition is baseless.

Ive never been so ashamed of this forum. Lol

Even if Jimmy is what you say, and he’s consistently more accurate than Dak, where does that leave your boy ? Dak has less turnovers because even the DB’s can’t catch balls in the dirt or no where near the receiver. Yah, stop the madness blindly defending Dak. The evidence is there to see.

I watched him, he was awful at times. It's an individual achievement. Not a team accomplishment.
And his individual achievement on the biggest stages were worthy of greatness. And why he’s in the HOF.

I couldn’t stand Terry and still don’t. He had his flaws but few had greater games on the biggest stages. Winning championships doesn’t get you in alone but it does matter.

Don’t ask me. Ask sportswriters who vote in HOFamers.

If we can’t definite Elite and Greatness with HOF then any definition is baseless. A new low for this forum.
You’re the one that’s harping on elite status. So I’m sure you’d be able to answer that. But of course you can’t. Just talking loud and saying nothing.

No! He wasn't a great QB! His TEAM was great. Lmao.

Dense logic is still logic, I guess.

I am from the California Bay Area. Seen too many 49er games for my liking. Even Niner fans will attest to this. Dak is the better quarterback playing in an inferior system. Let’s see what this new regime has in store.

He doesn't even get that he doesn't get it. He's chasing his tail. Or trolling.

The above takes away any credibility you may have had.

I watched him and do not consider him elite, he QB'd a team with an elite O and D. His most famous play is the "immaculate reception".
This is a comment I’d expect from a casual fan.

Then you didn’t watch some of those great throws in the playoffs, championship games and Super Bowls.

In Bradshaw's case, winning championships got him in the HOF alone.

Sounds like a 14 year old Madden Addict. Screaming ELITE and can’t even define it. SMDH
More personal insults from the kids here. I know nothing about Madden. I’m 66 years old.

If we can’t agree HOF is a basis for defining Elite then I’m not acknowledging this is a viable discussion.

That’s an opinion. And I’d agree it was a major factor much like Troy. But we’ve had other QB win championships that didn’t get in. And why I wouldn’t say it was that alone.

Playing at a high level on the biggest stages matters.

If we can’t agree HOF is a basis for Elite what is the basis?

The play he mentioned was a sure INT, what are you watching? He's known mostly for a fluke play because he literally threw it right to the defender.
His TD to INT ratio is elite, lmao.

That’s a fan who only watches highlites would use. I recall some of the great throws in the Super Bowl and playoffs.

I’m not here to defend Terry. Guy couldn’t spell cat.

Im here to discuss if HOF isn’t a basis for Elite. What is?
