I didn't say it was horrible, although the were certainly some of the most horrible acts in music history: Madonna, Culture Club, Adam Ant.
There were some great ones too, like some of the ones listed previously in the thread. But the typical 80's bands were, as a rule, crap.

Not anywhere near as bad as every era since!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No doubt lane. To me his verson of tuesdays gone rips me to my soul. I was only 13 at the time i saw him thanks to my older brother and his friends I will never forget it thats why i post skynyrd over and over. cant help it lol.

Oh, I don't listen to today's country......Bleh. 90's through about 2005. There's very little new music that I can listen to from any genre. Probably the newest album I have is Evanescence. My nephew made a CD of a bunch of Taylor Swift songs and gave it to me. I listened to it and gave it back because to me, it sounds like the stuff Avril Lavigne refused to record.
