Romo talked about changing arm angles and perfecting his throwing motion all the way into his 30’s. And it actually made differences in his game, I don’t know why people think after 5 years you are what you are.

LOL...…….these guys said that Dak was what he is in his 2nd season. They didn't understand anything about QB development whatsoever. 80% of what they all said has been proven wrong already.

100%.

We tend to focus more on the bad throws on this board, but there's zero proof that Dak has an accuracy problem.

He doesn't have an accuracy problem at all. There are just a shrinking list of other QB's that are more accurate.

The defense got more blamed then it deserved? How much blame should a defense get that doesn't generate turnovers and doesn't make plays in the 4th quarter of games?

As long as Dak is the QB you will be spending a lot of time blaming everyone around him and you won’t be wrong because he is completely dependent on how others perform.

He was better this year at not holding on to the ball for so long. His accuracy is maddening sometimes, missing easy throws with wrs that are so wide open. I don't know if you can teach accuracy but that's my main concern with his.

He was more decisive. Kitna's "let her rip" seemed to sink in.

Dak's deep accuracy got much better this year. He couldn't hit anything against Philly, but I'm chalking that up to the shoulder injury. 40+ points on either side of that game.

His major weakness is seeing the coverage a receiver is running *into*, but that's probably the toughest part of the game for all QBs.

he can train all he wants, but when he gets into pressure situations, he will revert back to his bad habits. you saw it this season.

*warning doesn't contain 100 percent, I love dak assessment. maybe cause triggering*
Yep... In the real world QBs handling pressure situations is quantified by coming from behind victory wins and overall wins...

We all know Dak ranks at the bottom...

*warning all parts include, not additions needed. Just common sense*

Inconsistency is what he needs to work on. He's already shown that he's more than willing to work on anything to improve.

It will be interesting to see how he can improve with a QB friendly HC, new QBC and his OC that believes in him.

he will def day the right things and work. He is the definition of a yes man.

I'm not saying he doesn't have bad throws at times, because every QB does but we can't just look at wide open receivers. We must look ar what's going on in the pocket as well. Is there pressure? Does DL have their arms up and Dak must through to get around them? Is he on the run? Most issues with his accuracy is when he doesn't set his feet, comes down to bad mechanics at times, which is fixable

Got to say....more and more I watch Simms shows...more I appreciate him over other programs. Dude rocks at keeping it real. Shows us stuff...like how they’re holding the ball. Real things we want to know, not opinions by 4 guys on a set and nothing gets answered.
