I really think we should move on from him, but put those two together and you get the most predictable re-signing. Edit: Oh, and how can I forget "Cowboys undervalue/look for bargains at the safety position." Couldn't get any more predictable.

Safety needs to be improved, for like the hundredth year in a row now.

this is the worst signing ever,dude has no place on a NFL team.this team is repeating the same mistakes over and over again under Stephen Jones,i fear we are doomed in perpetuity once he takes over.

ST guy for sure. We’re gonna have a few special teams specific players next year and lord do we need them. DT played below average at S but dude can be an asset on ST

We just improved from last year!!! All these players were losing now we are back on track improving the roster!

Wouldn't signing a backup safety mean he's depth, and therefore they will be drafting a safety at no. 17?

That's my assumption and I'd be glad if that's the case, though I'd rather a cornerback at 17 now that Jones is gone...
