Yeah, outside of being intrigued by more snaps/touches for Pollard, the rest of these guys? No, not good enough to play significant downs at 3rd WR.

Devin Smith could be solid there if McCarthy can utilize him correctly and whatever put him in the doghouse for 12 games as a healthy scratch, after averaging 22.6 ypc, went away with the discarded coaching staff.

Hopefully addressed in the draft, (if one of the Big 3 fall to 17, Jalen Reagor, Denzel Mims, Brandon Aiyuk, Michael Pitmman, Jr. Chase Claypool, Lynn Bowden, James Proche)
second wave of free agency ( Taylor Gabriel, Chester Rogers, Paul Richardson) uninspiring I know
or a cheap trade like we did with Tavon Austin (Curtis Samuel, John Ross, etc.)

Your 3rd WR is an extremely important position, and I would guess that McCarthy is very uncomfortable with the current depth.

I love Cooper and Gallup, but for them to be most effective, defenses have to respect that 3rd guy, or else they are going to put their #1 guy on Cooper and then bracket Gallup and dare Dak to beat out with inferior talent.

The more I look at that list, more more convinced I am that the cupboard is indeed bare.

WR or d-line with the first pick unless Henderson is there

Dallas didn’t sign a single wideout to replace Cobb, leading many to assume that they will heavily consider drafting a WR in the first two days of the draft.

They may just do that, the draft is chock full of dynamic receiving options in all shapes, speeds and fashions in one of the deepest classes in recent memory.

That said, it's obvious Dez doesn't follow the team or he wouldn't be out there seeking all that attention yet once again. Touche'

Lance Lenoir? Seriously? Lance Lenoir?

:lmao2:

He is not even listed on the roster. Not per the team website. But he is on the wiki roster.
His experiment should be over. If he is on the roster somehow, he is the next Jamiel Showers making a living off the PS.

Not sure why articles keep listing him on the team. I am pretty sure, or was sure they reached an injury settlement with him last season and he was released. However, maybe not.

Below are 2 sites for transactions.

He was placed on IR August 9th 2019. But the 2020 listings don't start until March 18th to see if he was released.

February 3, 2002 listed as coming off of IR. But only goes back to October 19th, but was pretty sure he was released on an injury settlement within. the 1st few weeks of the season.

I do not see where he was ever released according to the transactions.
But I could have sworn he was released during the season after thy came to a settlement.

im betting we would be fine without adding one more WR, I mean a slot WR say in the 3rd would be great BUT AC better have his bets season as pro with this new deal he got, stop disappearing on the road and Gallup will continue his progress, Jarwin was signed because some fans here say hes got WR skills and should get more targets and for sure Pollard and Zeke need many more receptions then they got last year..

this is Kellen Moores time to shine , we shouldnt need more offensive weapons especially given the DROOLING from some of you over Pollard, let him run many of the slot type duty's from the backfield or spread out..lets see what he can do when hes actually relied on for real production..

so as it stands

we can run out Gallup and AC on every play for all I care, add in a slot player that stands out in camp to just go grab some receptions but force feed Jarwin and pollard many more balls this season and additionally Zeke when he and pollard line up together he will get open out in routes..

those worried, a should not be.. MM and Km are supposed to be installing schemes to fit the roster , I mean many said it was coaching so here it is.. we dont need 3 1k wrs when we have pollard, zeke and Jarwin that should get Cobbs receptions plus some.. the other WRs on this roster are just going to get a catch here and there and no one will notice them..
