The good news for those who may miss Garrett or Marinelli is that they will still be available on draft day. Jerry Jones’ draft day decisions will be independent of Garrett. We will also see Garrett in NY and Marinelli in Vegas. We can only guess how much input Garrett and Marinelli will have on the draft. Good data nonetheless. Should make for some good draft related discussions here.

Jason will miss it most.

A free ride..

multi-millionaire run

National Press coverage..

Free lunches at the Star..

Huge B-Day party each year..

Cowboys gasoline card..

Free gym membership..

Free Ranger tickets..

Free Mavericks tickets..

Free Dallas Star tickets..

Free massages from the DCC..

He going to miss living under Jerrah's roof for a decade.

I know I would.

Jerrah is going to be getting a Happy New Year card for life from Garrett.
Dont forget the free field trips Garrett got to coordinate for the Cowboys on the road. Free sack lunches.

First loss.

Dak will get it worse at first, because of the big new contract, but if he continues to deliver at the rate he did last year, the hate will switch to McCarthy as soon as the hard 50/50 decisions start coming up. Any tough call he makes that doesn’t go his way and he starts losing points that, as a HC he can only get back by winning championship games. That’s how it works with angry mobs.
The eagle fans loved Doug Peterson the first couple of years, but now look at them, they've been trying to run him out of town since he's shown he's human.

Tony had the best of everything. The only thing you didn’t have was calm under pressure Exactly the reason why didn’t give him his job back . And I’m a fan of Tony. But the reality is
He also didn't have a strong body that could take a beating like Prescott.

Yeah but, Jones also is a common denominator in three super bowl wins.
no he was there , but jimmy had control over the draft and team building , roster, cutting players.
Jones was just along for the ride, then won 1 more after jimmy left, but it was with the team jimmy built.
After that team faded away, it has been the same, cant make playoffs, or if they do cant get past div round.

You're delusional.. You have to give Jerry credit for making good hires and doing his part! You can't disparage him when things are bad but not give him credit while things are good.... Crazy talk bro, just pure crazy talk.. Did you notice king Jimmy fail with the dolphins? Yea, I'm sure you have excuses for him, but save me the loss of brain cells.

You have to give Jerry credit......mmm no I dont lol
Jerry only did one smart thing since he bought the team, and that was hiring jimmy, and let him have full control.
That was it, he had no part in any of it till jimmy left.

I’m sure Jerry had the final say on things Jimmy did, just as he had the final say on what Parcells did. Those guys were just smart, experienced coaches that Jerry agreed with most of the time. Let’s not forget that D Ware may not have been a Cowboy if Jerry let Parcells have his way. It was obvious that Jerry ran the show over Garrett most of the time. Perhaps there will one day be a book that will shed light on some stupid things Jerry avoided by listening to Jimmy and some wise things he insisted upon.

I don’t think things are going to change enough for anybody to miss the Jerry/Jason days. Unlike a lot of these posters, I am not sold on MM being some kind of tough, hard-nosed disciplinarian type of coach. In GB , MM was skipping practices and team meetings to get massages. It kinda sounds like he would fit right in at the Dallas country club/locker room.

IF that were true, what's wrong with treating oneself?! After all, he won a Superbowl in only 5 years of being an NFL HC. Some may not be sold on him, but it's refreshing knowing the spongebob era is finally over in big D.
