I’m sure Jerry had the final say on things Jimmy did, just as he had the final say on what Parcells did. Those guys were just smart, experienced coaches that Jerry agreed with most of the time. Let’s not forget that D Ware may not have been a Cowboy if Jerry let Parcells have his way. It was obvious that Jerry ran the show over Garrett most of the time. Perhaps there will one day be a book that will shed light on some stupid things Jerry avoided by listening to Jimmy and some wise things he insisted upon.
