I think Garretts ONLY quality year was 2016. And ultimately he blew the Greenbay game in the end like we all knew he would with his terrible game plan, in game management, and clock management.

so he can coach?

I had heard (I don't have a link right now) that yes, Moore was calling the plays. The caveat was that JG decided on the players and formations for each play, which obviously limits what Moore can call.

So it was really a combination, Moore was technically right when he said he was calling the plays, but he was still hamstrung by red ginger.

except every coach that was asked about who runs the offense, to a man it was Moore, Moore put the gameplan in WITH DAK.

I have seen the coaches get blamed for 25 years now. Coaching may have been better at times and worse at other times but it has not been a 25 year long issue. The issue is at the top. The issue is how the team is assembled. The issue is a lack of focus. A constantly changing approach. A desire to obtain and cater to "stars". We run the team in a manner that is inconsistent with winning in the salary cap era. We have done so since the salary cap began 25 years ago. Nothing will change. you will get to watch the latest cowboy "stars" play on prime time TV on Sundays and as the season wears on the team will fade away into the background. It is not built to win in the long run. It hasn't been for a very long time.

I like hearing from former players that have no problem telling the problems. Like Dez saying JG and the coaches had WR lining up in the same spots running the same routes for years. I wonder how much more water it would have held if a player like Witten had said it.

I am sure more will surface about JG. And if anyone has heard anything please post it. Love hearing that stuff.
Cooper said it and even admitted to running a stop and go route as opposed to the stop and turn that was called. Opposing defenses admitted to knowing our routes.

It appeared that Jason had that Ivy League sense of entitlement, and he projected onto his team. He thought he had a Jimmy Johnson and Nick Saban team; where he can bully opponents to his will. He was sadly mistaken. His team was full of themselves and thought they would win, by just showing up. They had the swag, but didn't have the desire to match.

He did not contradict himself in any way. You're just being your typically obtuse self. Insipid as usual.

here come the riding partner...lol a coach takes a rookie 4th round qb to the best record in nfl, had 1 losing record, has a COY under his belt, is one of the worse coaches...ok
