Zeke was among the Cowboys top 5 with most drops in 2019. His fellow most-targetted teammates didn't fare so well either.

For a team who led the league in dropped passes and missed out on the playoffs and division title by 1 game, I hope these drops get seriously addressed and fixed in 2020. Too much potential on this team to go 8-8 and be missing out on the playoffs.

The reporters for this team are borderline terrible at this point. Now Zeke has bad hands because he dropped a few? Does Gallup have bad hands since he was top 3 in the NFL in drops?

Career:
Zeke 243 targets (61 per season) 78% catch rate
Cook 128 targets (43 per season) 82% catch rate
Barkley 143 targets (72 per season) 74% catch rate
Fournette 174 targets (58 per season) 77% catch rate

When it comes to 2019, our receivers had bad hands. Way too many drops. It doesn't mean they haven't performed better before, but last year was a bad year for our receivers, especially when they led the league in dropped passes. Hoping our new WRs coach and new coaching staff get that corrected this year.

When it comes to drops we need to look at the intended receivers net drops. We are all too quick to point out when they let the quarterback down but what about the times they bail the quarterback out bail. Or heaven forbid the times the quarterback lets them down;)

Need to get all this worked out is the bottom line, I agree. Those drops were definitely a reason we won only 8 games. Would've won 10 games at least if we dropped less balls. The big one being the sure Touchdown Gallup dropped in the Eagles game. 17-17 fell out of his fingertips in a matter of a second.

Also, we forget sacks was a reason 2018 goes down in history as a 10-6 year. Were sacks less an issue, we win against Carolina, Washington, and possibly Seattle for at least a 12-4 record and, we would retrospectively look at 2018 as a highly successful year. 6 sacks against Carolina, 5 against Seattle, 4 against Washington, 7 against New Orleans, and 5 against Tennessee. 4 of those were losing efforts. Stats like that don't make themselves up. This got improved in 2019, but lots of new fundamental dinks got revealed, and bottom line is that it isn't a well coached team, and these small items make a huge difference.

Cowboys shouldn’t pay Gallup, trade him while there is value.

For a team who led the league in dropped passes and missed out on the playoffs and division title by 1 game, I hope these drops get seriously addressed and fixed in 2020. Too much potential on this team to go 8-8 and be missing out on the playoffs.

That’s why we need Dez for moving the chains on a consistent basis. @reddyuta @Reality

No legit stat site has this many drops by the Cowboys receivers!

I guess drops are if they hit you in the hand or hands. Dak had a few of those passes that could have been a little better. Some were thrown behind or a little high. Catchable balls in practice but harder maybe in game time situations.

He dropped them because Dak can't throw a tight spiral.
