Andy Dalton or Cam Newton?

if the team decided to spend the cap space on defense rather than a qb and signed cam to a deal similar to daltons and let them compete for the starting spot.
1. Who do you think would win?
2. What moves would be made to use the cap space no massive qb contract would leave?

Personally, I would never want that dumb hat wearing, vain clown QBing my team. And its pretty obvious no one else does either.

I don't think there is any chance Cam would sign the Dalton contract.

This post makes no sense to me. Main principle is that Newton has no intention of signing a backup deal.

I think we’d be surprised how many QB’s would have success in this offense supporting cast.
Pretty sure nearly every single NFL starting QB would do better with our supporting vs what they have.

I hope our silver spoon QB understands that.
I think he does, but not sure.
He has flat out had it made his first 4 years...and it looks good for going forward too

Can would not sign to be a backup. He’s an MVP, SB QB still in his prime.

With that understood, he wouldn’t have signed for 3m, even as a backup

this is one of those madden type posts that only make sense to thr OP and even then, the clarity is uncertain.

try again
Dalton. Cam is not gonna play back up anywhere because he feels he’s a starter. Although, I think he’s done and has been for a few years.

I'm not saying as a backup. I'm saying cam and Andy compete for starting qb and trade the current qb.

Healthy Cam > every QB on this roster
No he's not. Cam had one great year, and has been subpar ever since. If you think Dak is inaccurate, Cam is much much worse.

Cam is done. Has it ever occurred to you that there's a reason he's unsigned?

Yeah take the guy that cant even get there :laugh:

It makes me sad to see a grown man who calls himself a football fan, be so lazy and/or stupid that he makes statements my grandma would've made on her 90th birthday.

"Cam Newton made a Super Bowl! Dak hasn't!" is about as lazy/stupid as it gets.:laugh:

Let's look at how Cam made a Super Bowl:

Seahawks scored 24 points, Panthers won.
Cardinals scored 15 points, Panthers won.
Broncos scored 24 points, Panthers lost.

Yeah boy, old Cam carried his team there. :muttley:

Dak's two playoff losses? The opponent scored 30+ points. The Cowboys haver never won a playoff game when that happened, and neither has Cam.

I'd be embarrassed to be in your shoes. This isn't hard to understand, unless my 90 year old grandma understood football as well as you, or you're just lazy.

Holy Larry, have you been hibernating since 2015? Cam has mostly blown chunks since then. Seriously, where do you get this "still in his prime" stuff from?
