He wasn’t offered anything in the same Area code, much less ballpark, as Mahomes Average pay either, so your point isn’t valid.

It would be poetic justice if Dak beats Mahomes in the Super Bowl and Jerry is sitting there looking stupid.

Patrick Mahomes makes elite money first of all. Dak aight getting that. Secondly I guess we can always hope to find another 4 round QB by luck that has statstically had one of the best 4 years starts in the NFL history. That happens like every year

Dak in his senior year, couldn’t beat a ranked team at 9-4. Like his fourth year here, his attempts went up and his rushing attempts dropped to 3.7 YPC.

Against LSU, he scored 13 points in garbage time in the 4th, down 21-6.

Against Texas, they got blown out 30-17, Dak scored on a run in the 4th in garbage time. The other TD was a 50 yard run in the second by a WR.

Alabama, they got blown out 31-6. Dak threw over 40 attempts at a 50% clip.

Ole Miss was up 28-3 going into the second half and blew them out 38-27, Dak threw two TDs in complete garbage time in the 4th and had a 1 yard run in the third. But guess what.. Dak threw at 74%...

Sounds like a familiar trend..

He'd certainly sign at 10 year at that price. The Chiefs are factoring in rising QB salaries. We aren't and that's why Dak wants 4 years. This isn't hard to understand

Why would it be poetic justice, considering Mahomes won a SB and is actually one of the best, if not best, and definitely most talented QB in the league and brought them back in every game in the playoffs last year and Dak is simply a 4th round QB, surrounded by elite blocking and a great RG and some of the fastest WRs in the game.

There has been a pattern in recent years in the NFL where the next big quarterback deal tends to be a tad more money than the last one.

This one is likely to bust the charts for a while. But that doesn’t mean it likely won’t have an effect on what Prescott will eventually make.

Dak is 0-2 in playoff games where the opponent scores 30 or more points. Guess how many playoff games the Cowboys franchise has won when the opponent scores 30+ points: ZERO. Hmmm...you don't suppose you need a little defense, too? The Cowboys championship teams had it.

Dak isn't Mahomes, but put any QB you want out there and they're only going so far when they have to carry the defense. Ask Marino and Fouts how that works.
