So.... They were down 24-0 halfway through the second quarter? Then Mahomes and the offense scored 28 points in 7 and a half minutes... yet you're giving the defense no credit for getting the ball back? The offense got the ball back, and drove for four scores, while the Texans were still scoring and driving the ball? Did the Texans defense even take the field? Or did they just concede the TDs? Also, if the game ended 51-31, and the game was 41-31 at the end of the third, how were the Texans still moving the ball and scoring?

Exactly what i said and after 3 they were down 41-31 and still in the game, they were still driving the ball and if not for a short missed FG at the end of the 2nd it would have been a 41-34 game, you should go rewatch the game

I'm thinking you should. There is an O and D on both sides to every game. When KC made their comeback, that means the KC D shut down the Texans and the Texan's O couldn't do much.

It's the media that gives all the credit to the QB no matter what.

So the Texans drove and missed a short FG at the end of the 2nd they drove and kicked a FG midway in the 2nd and i know they didn't use up 5 minutes on the clock in the 3rd driving and scoring a TD, yes they were down 41-31 after 3 should have been 41-34 but they missed that short FG and yes they did nothing in the 4th quarter when the Chiefs scored 10 more, but they didn't dissappear after they put up 24 points like you are trying to insinuate

I don't need to buddy watched the game many times. Mahomes turned on the jets and was unstoppable but the Texans didn't dissappear after they scored 21 they added a FG and another TD while Mahomes was doing his thing to stay in the game and again if they don't miss that short FG at the end of the 2nd it's a 41-34 game after 3

They put up 24 in 1 and a half quarters... then 7 in the next 2 and a half. Apparently, your definition of disappearing and mine are completely different. Just a quick question... If Dak and the Boys put up 24 in 1 1/2 quarters, then only 7 the rest of the game, and ended up losing 51-31, would you say Dak and the offense disappeared? Or would you say the opposing defense stepped up? Just curious.

I have already said they did nothing in the 4th what i have said in answer to you from an earlier post was that the Texans did not dissappear and did not keep going 3 and out they had some drives and scored some points keeping the game close which was in answer to you saying they just kept giving the ball up after scoring their 1st 3 TD's..that's not true. Mahomes did not have a cake walk after falling behind 24-0 he had to literally score on every drive from midway thru the 2nd quarter thru quarter 3 , it was only in the 4th quarter when that wasn't nessessary

The Steelers were playing like trash at that point at 4-5. Big Ben was talking about retiring. They then went on to win 9 straight games and lose in the Conf. Championship to the Patriots.

And that game was really Zeke.. Caught a short pass from Dak and took it for 83 yards, had two rushing TDs, one a 14 yarder and another a 32 yarder in the last seven minutes of the fourth quarter. It wasn’t really a shoot-out.

If you look at the Full play by play, Dak was actually stalling drives that were moving because of heavy doses of Zeke.

They're not even in the same universe. Please Mahomes is the REAL DEAL and Dak is just a 4th rd pick who came along at the right time. However Dak's stock has gone from the NYSE to the penny stocks level. He's what I call an average joe. Finished 8-8 last season with ridiculous stats that were generated because teams were playing prevent D due to leads on the Boys. He also padded his stats against below average teams. Mahomes has earned his big contract and Dak hasn't......
