Donnie Darko is more dramedy but can see your point on some elements. The cool airplane twist/dark bunny make it a little eerie but Donnie was a funny dude throughout..almost office space esque at private school (disconnected)

i love die hard but not over braveheart...easily one of the greatest movies ever.

I can't believe Happy Gimore is giving Ghostbusters a run for its money. No Adam Sandler movie should even be considered. Grown Ups is his best by far, and even that shouldn't be in the running.

I love the early Sander movies..but he's no savant and he would likely tell you that. Frat boy humor that I got as a child etc lol...I didn't get half the jokes on Ghostbusters until I saw it as a teenager.

it breaks my heart planes,trains & automobiles isn't in this.....but i've known my tastes run counter for a LONG time.

sci fi genre should've been on it's own.

Well, I see it only took 16 posts for me to get drug into this and catch some blame. This was not my original idea. My original idea was more like the cute little bugger that burst forth from John Hurt's chest. This is more like the full grown xenomorph wreaking havoc on the Nostromo.

History of the World

Airplane is probably the second funniest movie followed closely by Naked Gun

Just goes to show that I can’t let you and @Runwildboys take care if anything without constant supervision

how the hell do we not have indiana jones or capt jack sparrow in the action/adventure region....no Stallone either.

I agree and when I suggested Horror/Sci Fi, I was thinking Halloween/Dracula and Alien/Predator, both within the Horror genre. Sci Fi to me is different and not in the Horror genre at all.

Yep, Raiders is the action/adventure movie. So is Rambo but I would have that in the Military/War category.

I thought about adding T, P, and A to my list, but then I realized I'd be doing it because it's popular,and not because it's one of my favorites.

History of the World was very funny, but was no Monty Python and the Holy Grail...or Tommy Boy...or Crazy People.
