But he's basing it on an ex coach's opinion. That coach probably has no idea where Dak's head is at. If he knew, then I'm sure Jerry would know, and they would have started looking for another QB.
really. think todd france wouldn't have passed on that info as yet another negotiating ploy?

would that be the same mike fisher who reported more than once dak would be signed shortly? often, when there are only two possible outcomes to a story, a reported will just pull one out of his backside to get attention. then if he's correct, he crows like chanticleer. if he's wrong, he shuts up and just hopes it blows over. that's fisher.
Not getting that story right isn't really that telling. I think the Cowboys thought he'd get signed, too, because they thought Dak would approach them a few days before.

France is determined to get Dak to free agency because of how it paid off for Cousins and Flacco. Big-name quarterbacks never get there except for an injured Drew Brees and injured Peyton Manning. The money is staggering if you play the franchise tag game. That is France's sole intention.

Oh no it's true. You just don't want to believe it.

Of course they offered him a contract, they don't want to look like total ****** bags. Did they offer him *the* contract? Or one that he wanted?

No, they offered him what they wanted, and probably something they knew his greedy *** wouldn't go for. The whole time they probably said "look if he signs, we got him at a good price, and we can continue to build the team so he doesn't make us look bad, if he doesn't sign, oh well, he's not mind blowing like Pat, Lamar, Watson, Brady, Bree's,Rodgers, Big Ben ECT, so we can find another one of him"

How do you know that was said? Did you bug the room? Were you literally the fly on the wall? Were you hiding under Jerry's desk? You made it up, and you believe what you made up. You have an agenda, for whatever reason.

Also how is Dak greedy when he made a total of $3.62M from his rookie contract?

MM took on Brett Farve head on when he replaced him as the starter with Rodgers. Then he took Rodgers on head on when he didn't like his attitude and approach.

You think MM is looking for a best buddy?
Not what I meant.

400th time....

He is very good, not great.

He is as good as we are going to do for the foreseeable future.

No one in their right mind would look at the rest of the Dallas roster and think that starting over at QB with no actual replacement is the right move.

He is far from perfect, but good enough to win with.....or better than any alternative for now.

I'm sorry but it's true, I have sources within. I trust my sources.

Seriously, if it was a competition, Tony would have won it in the Eagles game. There was no competition, and IIRC, they announced that there wouldn't be one, which is partly why Romo chose to retire
Please. You guys must not remember how after Week 6 every week Romo was "destined to play". The competition didn't happen in week 17 I don't know what you're talking about. By week 17 Dak had already won.

There was no competition. Dak was given the job because he had the "hot hand".

Earth to pappydog. Unless you have verifiable proof that Jones told McCarthy to go find a cheap backup QB for a year, your big thought of McCarthy bringing in anyone is just your mind running wild. Oh I'm sure he and Jones had discussions and he very well may have said that the Cowboys need a backup QB and he may have even mentioned Dalton as a possibility but it was Jones and the scouting department that actually got Dalton here as a cheap 1 year insurance policy against an injury to Prescott. Also when McCarthy was named the Cowboys head coach he said how excited he was to be working with Prescott and then just a couple days later stating that he had a conversation with Prescott. Your hatred for Prescott is more than obvious and caused you to say things that just aren't true. Lastly being the starting QB of the Cowboys is a lot longer than 15 minutes of fame.

You're Dak Blind man.....GL with that!

Yea an opinion based on nothing but assumptions not facts. People in here don't read and want to kick Dak off the team because of trash articles like this.

based on opinion? Dak's brother has been running his trap every since the contract didn't get done, you think he's just saying the crap he said or he just maybe speaking Dak's words

Another thread about how Dak (allegedly) thinks/feels without anything actually from Dak.

Keep chewing on that clickbait, boys.

ahhh, if it was something you wanted to hear you'd be eating it up. it's been proving here time and time
