Some fans wanted to bring in this free agent QB while getting rid of Dak back on July 15th, 2020 when Dak and the Cowboys were unable to come to an agreement over a contract extension. I remember reading how some said Cam would be cheaper, more athletic, supposedly a better passer and a better leader. How lucky we are Jerry, Stephen, Coach McCarthy and the Cowboys disagree and know better.

Watch Julian Edelman in the background staring at sCam Newton act like a clown while everyone else is taking things seriously during Patriots practice. What do you think Edelman is thinking? It's got to be painful for him knowing his old legit leader and the GOAT in Tom Brady is no longer there but instead now have this.

Edelman, the Patriots and all of their fans are stuck with this......clown.

Careful what you wish for. It might come back and seriously bite you on the bottom.

PS: So glad we've got a natural born leader in Dak who takes the game seriously.

I watched the video. That’s quite a spin you put on what Edelman was doing.

I don’t think Edelman will care if Cam is dancing at practice if Newton plays well for them.

It's been years since Cam last was a true threat. He's no longer what he used to be, so there is no threat there when it comes to his performance. His personality is a different thing.

I see some truth in that but things have a way of changing, at times, in Foxboro. I'll be intrigued to see just how things develop there. There's no question but what there's a world of difference in the way Brady conducted himself and how Cam does. Anything can happen. Will Belichick settle for less than what Brady had to offer there? Fair question. I'm anxious to find out. o_O

They will have to revamp the offense, don’t think Cam is strong at those short/intermediate crossing routes

Based on YOUR logic... maybe other QBs like Dak should dance around in practice and act like a "clown" as you unfairly labeled him. Newton has led his team to a Superbowl.... there's alot of non clowns who can't say that.....

So when is Dak going to lead us to a Superbowl..... where this Newton "clown" has been before???

I'll wait....

It takes a team, not a player, to reach a Super Bowl. But it takes a player to destroy a team, especially at the most important position.

Comprende?

Cam doesn't take the game seriously because of what exactly? I don't get it.

Just curious, but how will you spin it if Cam and NE are able to keep their super bowl dynasty rolling while Dak misses the playoffs year after year or continues to have trouble making it past wild card games? Before you ask, I'm not a Cam fan, nor did I care whether or not Jerry signed him. And while we're talking about how awesome Jerry is because he passed on Cam, remind us again how many super bowls Jerry has taken the team to since 1996. How about the the NFC CG?

On the other hand, I saw yesterday that Bill B. is very impressed with Cam.

I do not remember many if at all asking for Cam Newton in Dallas as clearly the guy has devolved into nothing more than a clown focusing more on his 'act' than being a legitimate QB.
No, I don’t either . Considering who this thread is from it’s probably just another opportunity to slobber over Dak. Lol

Yea, if anyone can make the most of Cam it would probably be Belicheat.

If they can keep Cams personality in check and optimize his talent , the Pats could still be a threat. But that’s a big If.

Why he acting like a clown because he is energetic and happy about his craft. If he was being a jerk and a head case off the field what would he be!?

The problem is you don’t want your QB to be the class clown.

That’s why CEO types are the best and dancers like Cam never win.
