I would guess a 1 or 2 right now. Been teleworking since March. Very busy at work. Hard to get excited with such little Cowboy information out there. Does not even feel like camp is happening. Hear so little about the camp battles going on. No one to really talk football with. The threads here have been pretty much a bore. No fault of the posters, just little to work with.

I need the perspective of others right now. I am struggling to get excited. I should be because the new coaching staff is a big shift. Good offseason with the draft and FAs. The Dak contract is a dark cloud but he is the QB right now so there is hope they can get something done. All that said I am not getting excited. Don’t know why exactly. well said. I’m a Cowboys fan for 45 years and feel exactly the same. I hope when and if the games get into full swing I will feel different.

Lol. Hey, if people want to make do on their threats and carry them through then I'd respect that at least. The real weasels are those attention-seeking huffers and puffers coming out with "I'm gonna do it, just watch me" to make themselves out to be people of some sort of principle (the same ones they're against when it's convenient) and then go watch behind closed doors anyway or find loopholes that then "allow" them to watch. Take a stand and don't look back if you really want to play the role of an adult. Otherwise, this is what high schoolers do.

I’d say a 5. Hopefully excitement changes after a few games but it just feels like a season they have to play to keep things in continuity for next season.

Basically a year of practice to get the team acclimated to McCarthy is how I view it. Kind of like the 8 “regular season games” the NBA played before the playoffs.

Frankly, the new coaching staff has me somewhat curious.
With all that's happening these days, if Garrett was still around, I might've
already written off watching this year. As it stands, hanging by a thread
accurately describes my interest.

Plus, I waited too long to cancel Sunday Ticket.

Because you can fill Cowboys Stadium with 2 dead bodies of American citizens in every seat and have left overs, my enthusiasm for this season is a negative...

I will glance at a game, post here or there, or watch the highlights. However, with so many people unemployed, financially devastated, having their civil rights violated, sick, or dead in the United States this season, it just feels selfish, medically stupid, and plain wrong to be worried about playing around watching football or any sport. I am going to find ways and do things to actually keep America Great.

More excited than in past years, worried about the new coach syndrome that most teams fall into, I think I am at a 6, hard to get pumped about this team anymore..Been a fan since the late 70's, the last 20 plus years have made me skeptical.
