Not the same without the fans

It made much less difference than I thought it would. And 17,000 fans made some noise.

I attend high school games fairly regular and even Div 2 and 3 Football and 10,000 or less fans in the stands doesn’t make any difference. It doesn’t take away from the experience or the spirit of the competition.

On the weekends in my Cave I have 5 TV’s on with only one game with the sound on. The ambience of the crowd makes little difference to me.

All this pomp and circumstance of these huge stadiums is only about generating revenue. I’d be ok if they had the games in a cow pasture.

I think it's pretty amazing they actually had fans in the stands. The dedication despite thr health risks is pretty amazing.

It was odd. Kinda felt like a preseason game. Then when a player celebrated a sack that seemed weird too without a packed stadium. It was OK, but fans and fan noise are part of the experience. Sunday night with zero fans will definitely feel off.

It was different but did not bother me as much as I thought it would.
I think after a few weeks fans will be used to it and not bother them as much. As they will be glad there is football.

Also for anyone that has watched, MLB, NBA and NHL ga,es, they may be a little used to it by now anyway of no fans.

Watched the Chiefs vs Texans game Thursday night and it confirmed what I imagined, believed that limited fans in the seats and how it would affect my perception.
Its just my perception, and I do not expect anyone else to agree, but I honestly felt less interested because of the lack of fans in the seats.
I enjoyed watching a future star in CEH setting rookie records, that kid is amazing, and Im so thankful that KC is not in our division, our conference..
Just saying, just asking... are you going to watch this season with no fans in the seats and get the same feel for the game?
It felt so strange.

It felt like a preseason game rather than opening night. I suppose I'll get used to it because I'm still going to watch.

I ask this because I have found no metric on how many fans will be allowed,, I believe the Raiders anounced that zero fans would be allowed in,, has anyone heard if there will be fans allowed in the Rams new stadium sunday night?
I’ve only read the first two pages but to answer your questions, last I heard is that there will be no fans at the Rams game and the NFL said they will pipe in music to all stadiums with no fans to make it as realistic as possible for the players and tv audience, they even had the decibel limits and restrictions listed.

See how much Mahomes impacts the running game. They showed a stat last night regarding CEH how many of his yards came against six or less in the box, which was at like 98 yards on a handful of runs...

I found the viewing experience last night to be better than I feared.
It seems like the camera angles were just right most of the game.

Now I fear that an outdoor night game may be different feeling than a giant empty dome in the middle of the day light.

I feel a little more optimistic today than yesterday.

It's a shame that we won't hear all the Cowboys fans embarrass the Rams to open their own stadium.

I'm here. What you need?

I can cheer. I can boo. I can complain. I can put on my homer glasses.

It felt so strange.

I often watch with the sound off depending on the broadcast crew. I started doing that because of Phil Simms.

The networks should just use crowd noise from old games combined with the actual sounds from the field. It would likely be ⁹better than the fake noise that will be used in stadiums.

As a south american soccer fan I'm used to see empty stadiums (sadly), so no big deal to me lol

However you shake it, this year is gonna be bizzare. I didn't watch the game last night...(my own personal protest on the eve of 9/11) but will tune in this weekend to see how it goes.
