What is the deal with Cooper?

This dude spends more time on the sidelines during pivotal plays than I have every seen.

Is there a clause in his contract, that he only has to have one good catch per game? Sheeesh.
Where the heck is this coming from? There is a long list of people to complain about, but Cooper isn't on that list.

His game/advantage comes from his Stan-Lee’s-Superhumans level ability to make cuts...at dark near right angles...running full speed. And he has plantar fasciitis. And he has an moderate problem with drops.

He's an odd duck.

Just doesn't seem to really care that much about anything.

Yeah I have to admit I'm shocked he's getting criticism. He hasn't had his big time games but he's been consistently good for sure.

He's getting paid to be more than just consistently good. That is why he is getting criticism. =He is getting paid to have big time games.

Well ok if you say excluding DE's and DT's then that's a whole totally different statement being made lol. That's like saying I wouldn't trade corner for anyone on offense aside from left tackle and quarterback lol.
Id trade a CB for a WR

In all seriousness, outside of a pass rusher it would have to be an elite defender for me to consider trading a WR capable of 1,000 yards. With Cooper, Id consider moving for a guy like Ramsey, Minkah or Adams. Players of that caliber

Ok if they want him to have big games tell them to get rid of Gallup and Lamb. You can't increase the usage of other receivers and now even add Wilson to the fold and expect Cooper to do what he did the previous two years. It makes no sense. If you was him to have Michael Thomas stats go get him inferior weapons then.

As would I but being that those guys got 2 1st rounders for them you are probably looking at Cooper and a 1st and a 3rd.

-----He doesn't seem interested in making possession catches either.

THE FIRST FOUR WORDS ARE WHAT WE HEARD ABOUT HIM WHEN HE ARRIVED....WE SHOULDN'T HAVE RESIGNED HIM!!!!

This and next year his total cap hit will be 34 mil, or 17 on average. It's not that bad.

Add in his guaranteed salary expires in 2022 and his signing bonus was only 10mil. They could get creative with his deal if they want to keep him longer than two years.
Or he should have some trade value after 2022, depending on his play/ how the cap looks. At worst, cutting him in 2022 will barely sting.

Do we think he would have any trade value by then ? He was hurt last year and hurt again to start this season. And will most likely play hurt the rest of this season. He’s often not on the field.

Guaranteed base isn't considered dead cap if traded. Only if cut. His dead cap if traded will be from the signing bonus.

Looked liked he was hurting after that early pass he dove for to catch. If it were a better pass would not have had to dive. Dak does put the receivers in some bad spots to get hit hard or awkwardly having to correct to catch balls at times

Cooper is playing very well. What games are y’all watching?

he just hasn’t had a blow up game yet that we are used to seeing when he goes for close to 200 in one game.

it’s only 3 games into the season. Lol

If high paid guys like Jaylon and DeMarcus Lawrence were playing as equivalently well as Cooper has been. We would be 2-1 maybe 3-0 right now.

Yea IMO after 3 games Dak, Amari and Aldon are the only players that showed up in every game. So many other players to criticize that actually have been no shows.....

I think you can throw in Lamb and Gallup and I’d even say Diggs despite hiccups

Fans never happy Wasn’t happy with a fiery Dez, TO, and now not happy with a somber Cooper.
