With the way the off season has gone nd all the injuries plus coaching change and scheme change and influx of new talent it's going to take a little while. However, He is an Offensive minded coach and I've noticed a difference on the O side. Mostly with the adjustments made throughout the game and not weeks later. With Garrett the injuries would have been too much but were still playing like we should be 3-0 minus stupid mental mistakes. This team is diff. Just have to get the Defense in order.

“a while...”
We’re in week 4 buddy. It’s getting ridiculous at this point. He shouldn’t have applied for the job if he wasn’t gonna be able to handle it. This team is pure slop. He’s coached for how long? And he needs time? No. Excuses excuses. We the fans are so used to mediocrity that we don’t even notice it when we type or talk about how “1-2 is fine” or “we just need time”. You think the Chiefs, Ravens, Packers, Seahawks, Rams, Bills, etc think like this?

what a shame. We’ve been conditioned

I certainly hope it changes .

Has he made the impact in first 3 games he was supposed to?

Coach Mike McCarthy’s team has looked sloppy and unprepared too often this season. There have been too many blown coverages, too many special teams miscues and too many penalties.

There has also been some questionable strategy. He was supposed to give the Cowboys an edge on the sideline. Through three games, it hasn’t happened yet.
so far big fail, but its early and a very strange year

I will agree....He's worse than Garrett....offers nothing on gameday. I'm not sure he does anything honestly. Just stands around...doesn't talk to anyone...isn't on a head phone talking. Infact...that headphone set looks more like he's tuning everyone out and just cruising to music.

@ least from Garrett....you got the

McCarthy??? I won't be surprised they get a close up of his face and you will see a mustard stain from a hot dog. Not sure what else he does.

...Dallas has played some "seasoned" teams so far...Essentially these are Dallas's pre-season games, ...and Dallas needs them more than the other teams they have already played so far IMO... I believe we all will see an improvement from Dallas, on both sides of the the ball, by +- game 6....

It doesn’t have to be about that.

This is about the first 3 games this year. I think most feel it hasn’t provided an edge yet.

Jesus... idk why this is taking so many so long to understand THEY SWITCHED DEFENSIVE AND OFFENSIVE SCHEMES HAVE A TON OF INJURIES AND ONLY HAD 1/4 OF AN OFFSEASON.... you won’t get a glimpse of what a Mike McCarty team is really gone look like until probably around week 5 or 6... none of the teams with new HCs are doing well....

He's cashing a check.

His "name" gives them just enough credence to keep up the illusion of competent GM Jerry. All good con artists surround themselves with other cons.

Aaron Rodgers told us all about McCarthy a few years ago. You guys just wanted to buy into the hype (again).

For all of those who will scream "TOO SOON!!!" let's revisit in 3 years.

U could very well be right about McCarthy, but the doesn’t mean it isn’t “too soon” the two aren’t mutually exclusive

They are not, and honestly, I'm hopeful that McCarthy is still a significant improvement over Garrett (how can he not be). I'm a big believer of this team's talent (on offense) and they played above average football in spite of Garrett.

I was never big on McCarthy but felt he would make us better. My first sign that nothing was going to change is when the man who said he would never not call plays again, conceded within a few days that Kellen Moore would be calling plays. It was a huge warning sign that Jerry was still pulling all the strings, and McCarthy even revisited this topic when he talked about not stepping on Moore's toes. What Head Coach do you know that talks like that?

If things don't get righted soon, McCarthy will go into survival mode and take over playcalling. I think we become a better team the day that happens. How much better I can't say, but I've seen more than enough to see that Kellen Moore is in over his head.

At this point, McCarthy just needs to go up to Jerry and hit him in the head with a frying pan and hope Jerry can become reasonable for once.

And a crap-ton of injuries. This team is a MASH unit.

The offense used to collapse with just Tyron out.

Collins out. Tyron out. Erving, our lameo "veteran T backup" out. Our lameo UDFA T who we start needed fluids and was booted out. 4 Ts out.

Looney physically carted to the locker room, taped up, and sent back to the field. Note: after having Frederick retire.

Imagine the complete debacle you'd normally expect from this.

Instead, we end up playing Martin at T for the first time ever, still gain a bazillion yards, and are throwing a 20 yard pass at the end of the game for the win against the class of the NFC in their house.

And that's just the injuries to the offensive line.

This is the coach that should have been hired!
Unfortunately, he's NOT a YES man!

Where were you all these years when Garrett was doing the same thing?
