In theory this passing game should make the running game wide open, in theory. We should be able to gouge opposing defenses, but it ain't happened yet.

Indeed. I think it's the predictable play call patterns and the badly-designed run plays, asking this barely average offensive line to hold blocks way too long as Zeke finds a hole. And let's face it, the o-line simply isn't that good...average at best, and in some games, that's a stretch.

I don't get Moore's fixation on running screen plays with an OL that can't run screen plays.

Grew up with Jalen...lots of us were cowboys fans as kids. The Lions were never on television for us to follow.

I would agree.

Our run designs with Zeke have to change. Zeke is still a good runner going north-to-south between the tackles. That said, it’s maddening to see us still try to run him on sweeps and stretch plays outside the tackles; he doesn’t have the speed or quickness anymore. Even worse when we have him split-out wide as a receiver.

With all that said, Rose’s idea is not a bad strategy. McCarthy has never placed an emphasis or resources on a single back. If we are shifting to a Dak-centric offense then it makes sense to trade a commodity like Zeke, get some compensation (draft picks) and free up cap room to address higher-level needs.

If anything, he's the one offensive player that we should keep no matter what.

He is the key to us winning, he always has been ever since 2016.

Build around the running game and defense....I know, that seems like a novel concept to the Cowboys, but it's the right formula for winning.

agree for the most part no reason to go run heavy but better play calls as i have called out KM all year and getting bad reaction to it..
