All this anti-QB back and forth is so annoying, but it's not unexpected because it's been going on for years. Excessive bias against and criticism of the non-fav QB often times with simplistic and non-contextual analysis to emphasize the negative that can turn in an act of Karma on the fav QB. It could be a lesson from the Universe. Regardless, if you've dished it out, you have to saddle up and now take your lumps.

Oh so now I’m a coward here. You Dak-stans are so predictable, spending the day after throwing fits about how Dak and Dak-stans are victims and they are just reacting to the evil people on this forum. All this ‘moral superiority’ play day in and day out..

What ever happened to ‘enjoying the win’.
Yes you are a coward because you are going to hold Dalton to a different standard.

The only thing you're enjoying is that Dak's hurt so you can spend the next 3 months incorrectly blathering about how they aren't better with him. You're not a Cowboys fan.

So I’m a coward for something that hasn’t happened yet, while here you are with the rest of the Dak-stans making so many excuses, like they’ve been doing for years..

We already used to scoreless quarters? Why you so upset by that, since we are already used to it. According to you guys Dalton sucks, so it’s inevitable. What excuse do you have for the great Dak, when he went scoreless for five straight quarters last year despite the “number 1 ranked passing attack” and Dak, the “leader” was throwing his teammates under the bus?
oh, yeah, there were plenty of Dak detractors pointing to scoreless quarters....I am not upset. its just that some of you (including you) have been asking for Dalton. you got your wish. now, Dalton has to be equal or better than Dak.

I don't have an excuse for Dak. I never used excuses for Dak. I will not accept your excuses for Dalton (which is already starting including his fumble).

lets see how Dalton does. the QB you have been asking for all summer and during the season.....

like I said, nothing less will be accepted.....all wins and losses fall on Dalton now.

This team floundered around for five years catering to Dak and all we heard was how it was everybody else’s fault.

So spare us the hypocrisy like Dak didn’t earn legitimate criticism for his play.

OK, you say this team floundered for 5 years....all wins and losses are on QB. then all wins and losses are on Dalton.

its not hypocrisy....its using the same measuring stick for the QB you have been advocating for.

sounds like you are backing out and finding excuses already. is Dalton you QB or not?

What Dalton will bring is a more timely and accurate thrown ball from the pocket. He sees it quick and the ball is gone.

What he lacks is Dak's youth and sturdiness, and his ability to ad-lib for big yardage. Dalton used to be a good scrambler, and still can here and there, but much of that is behind him now.

Dalton is used to jail-break offensive lines, so I think he'll handle that OK. But I'd kick Martin out to right tackle now so Dalton can stay in and step up in the pocket, which he prefers to do.

With a bit of time, the weapons are there to move the ball the same. Hopefully, sooner in the game so we're now down so big early like we seem to be every game.

Dalton looked OK. Honestly, the most important thing is going to be protecting him. When he dove into the scrum on the fumble I cringed. I know he's a football player and he's gonna do that stuff, but he has to protect himself first and foremost. He has to slide and throw balls away.

Dak makes $32 million and wants $40 million a year.

Dalton makes $3 million and is trying to extend his career.

There's the fallacy in your argument.

But Dalton will move the team just as well, just differently. That's the point.

Some of you guys are impossible.... Look, I'm one of the biggest Dak heads on this board but Andy looked awesome considering he really had no idea he would be going in and didn't get first team snaps throughout the week. I thought Andy did what Dak hasn't been able to do lately and that is win the game at the end.. Sure he has help from Gallup, but the guy delivered so at least that is a positive in his favor... I'm excited to see how Andy does, but I will be praying for Dak to get better as soon as possible..

Did I say that CeeDee Lamb is a freak? Guys, oh my God, CeeDee is going to be a beast..

one is a franchise QB. the other one is a never has been and washed up. whose team desparately tried to trade him even for a 7th round pick and there were no takers. he didn't get signed by any of the teams out there, all of who chose to go with other players that are just as bad and washed up (SD, Carolina, Jax, Indy, New England, Miami)....all of whom signed washed up and average QB, none took Dalton......

you sound like you are focused on business end of it, trying to save money instead of focusing on what we need to win.

lets wait and see Dalton's results before declaring victory. He has at his disposal what Dak had.... don't thump your chest yet. we beat and 0-5 team, and we had the lead when he came in and had to pull out a miracle win.

This has been occurring far too long. I remember being on the Ranch during the Quincy Carter / Chad Hutchison / Benson / Leaf / some other bad QB years and people would call each the next coming of Staubach.

I literally remember being told Q Carter was better then Aikman. You can’t make this stuff up.

I think people somehow become enmeshed with a QB and can no longer be objective or rational.

If that is what you think Dalton is, you know nothing about football.

If Dak was drafted by the Bengals, you wouldn't even know he was in the league now. If he played quarterback for that horrific team last year, he would have gone 0-16.

its because of the OL, Dalton is fault free

If it was because of the OL for Dak, then it should be the same for Dalton, no? I mean, according to you guys, nothing was ever Dak's fault, someone else was always to blame. Shouldn't you be saying the same thing now? Or do YOU have an agenda?

Same as Dak's win against 0-5 Atlanta.

Not a Dak hater (or huge fan either), but Dalton looked pretty good. Haven't watched him at Cincy in years so I wasn't sure how much he's lost from when he was a pretty good QB. But once he gets more snaps I think we're going to be just fine at QB.

so you seem to think so highly of Dalton.....proof is in the pudding...he is 0-5 in the playoffs and lets see how he does in Dallas.......opinions are like a-holes. everyone is got one....
