So I've really only been paying attention to QB's. It's a long time until the draft but who are you guys looking at? Who do I need to start looking at?

My wish list.

1. QB - Cheap QB I think is what's best for this franchise.

2. 3 technique that can disrupt in the middle.. I think that is the biggest hole on defense. These guys just aren't available.

3. DB - I don't think our team will be greatly improved with a DB but guys are leaving and we need the talent. Safety is a never ending problem for this team and our corners were awful this past season.

4. Offensive Line - This is what made the Cowboys "great" in 14 and 16.. It's fading quick.

5. Jaylon replacement.. I don't think we need to use a premium pick on a linebacker.. How many linebackers make a difference in this league? We just need an athletic guy who does his job.

Kyle Pitts is going to be a topic of conversation too.. If the defenders are not that good where we are drafting and Pitts is sitting there at 10 then that would be hard to pass on.

I do like our TE's though and I feel Schultz really compliments all of the underneath stuff in our offense very well.
Daily “I hate Dak troll thread” from you right on que.

I think we ought to consider moving up to get the quarterback we want. We have a lot of picks. We're kind of at the borderline of first round qb territory. I don't really want to have to get back to this spot a few years from now. And we'll either Dak is really the Guy or Dak isn't going to get us there in two years when he's turning 30. So it's not too early.

Certainly if Wilson gets past 5, we should really think about it. With Miami and Cincy in the top 5 having young quarterbacks, that's certainly possible. (If I were them, I'd draft Wilson, anyway.) Of course, other teams could trade into those spots, also.

I am not one for picking CB early but if top CB is there at 10 then he might be the best option for us

My concern is the lines.
Insert the appropriate draft names that are an improvement over the Hill/Gallimore/Crawford combo @ 3T
and Woods @1T. I think better draftees at those 2 positions could be available but possibly not worth as high as a #10 pick.

As equally concerning if not more is my lack of confidence in Tyron's consistent health.

Sewell gone before #10 so whomever is the best graded 2nd LT in the draft. Erving can't be a starter. Knight or Steele might represent swing/back up level potential but Not full season starter ability imo. Not confident in any other back up plan with existing depth. RT with Collins health report could potentially prove disastrous to the line if preliminary "no cartilage" report on him was accurate.

So...
Offensive tackles and Defensive tackles

Pick the names, types and draft rounds
