Should Dallas try and bring in Richard Sherman as a FS?

Why do we like taking guys and notably OLD guys and change them to S?

The Woodsons (Rod and Charles), Aneas and Ronnie. There were lesser players like Troy Vincent and Malcom Jenkins (if I remember right). The first I mentioned were HOF caliber players who made the transition and the other two were all-pro caliber. I honestly can’t think of other examples tbh. I guess Richard Sherman would fit into that scenario maybe. Idk

To answer your question, I have no idea. I mentioned six names above. Out of the thousands of CBs that have played in the league, those six names are the only successful transitions to safety I can think of on the top of my head. Unless someone can think of some more examples I forgot. Why people think you can just switch a older or slow corner to a safety and get a great safety idk.

Hard to take anyone seriously who doesn't think Sherman is a good fit for this team. His "down" year was still better than any DB on our roster. He would immediately be the #1 corner until Diggs steps up to pass him.
You and Jerry like the big names, huh? I bet you are smart like Jerry.

I was watching one of those YouTube podcast and they had Barry Church on as a guest. One of them floated this idea and Church thought it was a good one. So, what do y’all think? He’s lost a step as a CB but he might have a couple more years in him as a Safety. Could be the mentor this young 2ndary needs.
No , he’s a cancer .

Exactly. It's just annoying because it's always brought up. Rather they be young or old from B. Jones to R. SHERMAN

Nope. Sherman is done. Only managed to play 5 games this season. Gave up 72.4% completions. QB's had a rating of 116.2 when targeting him.

maybe not Sherman, but I think it's always a good idea to bring in a player or a couple players that has played with you in your system to help translate it to the other players

I think thats a great suggestion.

If he wont sign i think we should play SJ as FS.
