our coaching finds ways to put players in a box rather than ways to free them. he endured 7 yrs of that & knew he needed to go elsewhere.

The Bills have been terrible for longer than the Cowboys. They’re only now starting to turn it around.

I liked Cole, but he went where the money was, not because of the Bills. If the Cowboys paid him he would’ve stayed here.
I would have paid him too.

Something happened b/w Cole and the organization than just wanting deserved pay.

Neither side has really said what broke the camel's back. I suspect it was something we said or implied that never materialized for Cole.

He just wanted out. It was one of our recent fumbles as a franchise.

I am happy for how he has turned the whole thing and found his team.

Chalk up another bungled opportunity for us.

Typical..huh?

When he left for the Bills, he commented on how the training facilities were better in Buffalo than here. As a diehard Cowboys fan (which I still very much am for God knows why), I didn't want to believe it. However, having seen what I watched in the game against the Ravens and realising that the Bills have beaten us back to the AFC Championship, I have to admit that I was wrong. The Bills are clearly a better run organisation than we are at the moment. I strongly hope that this changes for the Cowboys. I'd love for us to get back to glory. However, I must say, Cole Beasley was right.
So they have better lockers ?

Beasley's up-swing is primarily due to the fact that he has a new Jockey (Allen) and the sky is the limit for him!
Beasley was injured in 2019 with his usual nagging leg injuries.

This year he was more lucky and had his wheels under him.

The fans definitely have supported him coming to their team.

He still runs the same routes and find the open in the defense and his QB looks for him.

That's all it takes. He was the same here.

Let's see what next year can bring. Judging the Cowboys off the 2020 season is pretty meaningless based on everything that happened.
Pretty sure we are judging the Cowboys based off the last 20 plus years. 2020 is no different from any other of our recent years. Our win and loss may be a bit different each year but the end result is the same. Doesn't matter who our QB or coach is. It's the same ending...

How could it not be? Serious question. Every possible thing that could go wrong did. No way anything close to that can happen in back to back years.

Probably not for a few years. OL is getting old, Defense sucks and getting worse, Re-tread coaches, Dak issue eating away at our cap. We need teaching coaches, lots of new players, getting rid of
non-performing bloated long term contracts and most likely a new young QB. That's going to take years and new management. Not likely to happen with the Jones family.

Another smart player. Get the hell out of Dallas and make a deep playoff. Cole can flip Jerry off from the championship game.

I liked Beasley and would have liked for him to stay with a lower contract, but I do not blame him for following the money.

That said, the risk with paying him a contract like that is his entire game is built completely on quickness and cutting and an ankle, leg, knee, hamstring, etc. injury, even just a nagging one, could dramatically impact his performance and value on the field.

In fact, Beasley injured his knee a couple of weeks ago and that is likely why he was not a larger part of their game plan.

So, we had to trade for Amari Cooper to give Dak a target as a result of letting Beasley walk. Same injury risks but it cost us a much bigger contract and 2 draft picks. Id say Beasley got the better deal.

Our OC couldn't use Beasley properly anyway though. I feel like once DC's realized they could just bracket him in coverage, it effectively removed him from the game plan.

And of course Linehan and Garrett couldn't make the adjustments.

Amari has been able to play through injuries and still help his team where as when Beasley is injured he's pretty much useless to his team (as evident by low stats this past weekend two weeks after a knee injury), which exactly what I stated in my post.

As I said, I liked Beasley and would have been glad to resign him for a lower contract and I do not blame him for following the money as most of us would in his place.

I felt the same about DeMarcus Ware as well and when he left, I rooted for him to win a Super Bowl and I am glad he got one even if it was not with the Cowboys. I will do the same for Beasley as well.

This is a bit confusing. You said Beasley said the Bills training facilities were better, then you said he was right in saying that because the organization is better run. Maybe the Bills both have better training facilities and are better run, but those two aren't the same thing.

One dimensional and always injured. Cedric Wilson's play as a WR (with Dak at QB), and ST player did not have missing Beasley who should have be gone and kept Dwayne Harris who was a more complete football player at WR, KR, PR, and ST player.
