Wonder what Eagles brass thought after the Moore interview.

They need not worry about us for a while lol?

Jerry's next genius passed over for a guy who didn't call plays.

They probably just heard, "It's a process" over and over again, and decided they couldn't get more out of him. It's hard to deprogram a Garrett guy without a full-on intervention.

Serianni's never called plays. The Egals will/would be better off if their HC is calling plays. o_O

Eagles will rue the day they didn’t hire Jason Garrett

2 years now and multiple HCs hired but nit Garrett

this is truly shocking. We were told several teams would be lining up to snatch him up

maybe @Idgit can take out a full page add in the NY and Philly papers letting nfl teams know that Garrett is still available

"Hey Siri - what is a running play?"

So many potential headlines to use Siri with the Birds new HC

Garrett's biggest strength was making his boss "comfortable," and act like the coach he thinks he is.

We’re going to be decimated by our division for years to come. We have the worst coaching in the division by a long shot. That’s a smart, high risk, high reward choice. Big Mike was a high risk, low reward. Now with Quinn and Moore by his side? What a joke. Sad that Dallas went from a dynasty team in the 90’s to the Knicks of the NFL now.

I enjoy your nega vibe lately and agree with most all of it. I like crow served medium well myself. I got enough humility to fess up if/when the GMing, HCing and QB'ing reach a championship level that I seriously just can't see happening under this cast of characters.

Same ol', same ol'.

Waiting for change..

And waiting...

Lol :)

I’m glad it wasn’t Duce. The team would have loved playing for that guy. Lurie/Roseman have been making horrible decisions for a long time now... going back to firing Reid, lol. Andy would have Wentz playing like a top 5 QB. That guy is an offensive genius and a bonafied QB guru.
Would love Reid in Dallas, but he will retire with KC.

how can that team go into next year with both qb's? This hire and saying he can fix Wentz appears to be a smoke screen in hopes of some franchise poying up a trade for him at a non devalued rate

Lurie is doing that thing where you do something really unexpected so that if it turns out well, he can look like the smartest guy in the room.
I’d say that sounds Jerry, especially when it comes to drafts, FA’s and contracts, but sadly it’s not unexpected at all, it’s quite the opposite.

Glad they didn't hire Eberflus, I wouldn't have liked that.

Funny just a couple of months ago Eber was the one that got away etc, and now the guy hasn’t aced any of these HC opportunities.

We finished 3-1 with a team decimated by injuries. That’s a pretty good finish. But I know you always like to dwell on the negatives poor thing.
