Crawford and Jaylon should be on that list.....;)

I know you're being sarcastic, but I think Jaylon Smith might surprise a lot of fans if we retool the defensive line. He and LVE both were playing quite well in 2018, then their play fell off in 2019 even before LVE's injury and then they spent a lot of time having to try to get around second-level blocks and guess right in 2020.

Smith ended up with the most tackles of his career this year and had 139 last year, but 2018 was when both linebackers looked like what we were hoping for when we drafted them. If Smith and LVE can refind that in Quinn's defense, I think we'll be pretty happy with both players.

Hopefully everything stays smooth sailing for him during the offseason. You always have to hold your breath when it comes to Randy Gregory. You never want to get too comfortable. Not sure I’ll ever totally trust him.

I think so too, we need a stud DT to keep guards off of him and LVE

Well count him out next season. Randy only plays seasons with an even number.

Hopefully we can get one of Jaylon or LVE to return to form in the scheme that they showed out in. I’m betting it’s LVE if I had to pick,

Sign 2 vet FA starters and draft 3/4 starters/contributors and we can go from bad to average-solid in one offseason.
But, but, but according to Cowboys Zone we would be lucky to get one defensive starter in the draft and we have no money to get free agents. Plus drafting a 6’3 guard would make our offensive line elite again because Tyron will have his head amputated and Collins just had hip replacement surgery.

He still wasn't much of a difference maker, but hopefully he will stay clean, come in fresh, earn more playing time, and the full potential will finally materialize. I'm hopeful, and pulling for him, but 2021 will be the 7th NFL season since he was drafted, so there is a dose of skepticism mixed in as well.

I'm really happy for Gregory, I hope that he can get his career going without anymore interruptions.
