I stated Sherman there's a "specific role" he could play on the field, in addition, to the intangibles off.First, Sherm is an old dawg, not a big dawg any longer. He may be a good coach but we already have that, so why not just let the coach do his job and avoid the distraction that Sherm IS.
Who is he not better than in our CB room.?Hes not a smart player?....he doesnt know Quinns system?.... he couldnt teach our young guys anything?.... please tell me where I'm wrong so I can be as wise as you are!
The fact that you dont even know who were talking about says alot about you as a fan. Smdh we are not talking about EARL THOMAS but RICHARD SHERMAN...lmao wowFor starters he he is old and slow and not significantly better than what we have. If he was, then he would have been brought in. Two teams passed on him already because he is old and slow, plus he is cancer in the locker room. If he was good enough then two teams wouldn't have let him go. Last, why would you want someone on the team that punched a teammate over a disagreement. I hope you learned something here. If other teams don't want an aging, past his prime player who has issues, then why would we?
I'm sure you wont like this answer but it is what it is.
If Quinn uses the Cover-1 scheme, Sherman would be a better fit at corner than at safety. The safety in that scheme has to be really able to cover some ground. The corners get to be physical and less reliant on pure speed.
Y'all think Sherman is a HOFer? I know it don't really have anything to do with thread, but what's y'all's opinion
Quick side note: Read a couple of tweets that we could see an avalanche of vets released shortly after the Super Bowl.

Cowboys 2021 free agency: Dallas hasn't ruled out interest in Richard Sherman, but lots to consider
They'd like to open a dialogue with him, if he's willing to talk
It's no secret the Dallas Cowboys have been attempting to reconstruct the framework of the once infamous Legion of Boom, but having failed to do so to this point. The addition of Kris Richard as passing game coordinator in 2018 was a lynchpin in their more recent attempts, but Richard was let go in 2020 when the head coach and defensive regime changed. One year later, there's been another seismic shift -- one that sees Dan Quinn taking over after a historically abysmal showing by now-fired defensive coordinator Mike Nolan -- which serves as a reset button to build in Dallas what the Seattle Seahawks once boasted, and this is where Richard Sherman might come into play.

You said that but you are wrong. Sherm is a has-been on the field.I stated Sherman there's a "specific role" he could play on the field, in addition, to the intangibles off.
If you can't see the value in a former All-Pro (Super Bowl Champ) mentoring a 2nd year CB who played on the worst defense in history, I don't know what to tell you. If you don't like Sherman just say that, but to act like he has no value is cap.
Last, I'm not putting any stock in Whitt after that dumpster fire he lead in ATL, so you trust the architect of a bottom feeding secondary to guide Diggs into greatness, alright.
