When I saw Sullivan he was with Georgia Championship Wrestling and he was a Babyface vs,Austin Idol as the heel.
first time i saw him was in wcw...he started a feud with sting.
sullivan creeped me out with the black eye liner...and the circus freaks he hung with.
i think he even had a faction of guys that wore their varsity jackets...i think they were the varsity club.
mike rotundo wore his syracuse jacket.
he was the tv champ...and had some great matches with sting.
before or after the varsity club...sullivan had another faction of what i call circus freaks.
cant remember what the official name was.
sullivan was a good wrestler and was really good at cutting promos.
man i miss those days.
another freak that creeped me out was the adorable adrian adonis....he was weird.
debut in mid-south was what i remember.
he came out to paint it black.
he was gold dust before gold dust.

Exotic Adrian Street would wear pig tails and kiss the other wrestler. Goldust stole his gimmick.

I don't think I ever saw Sullivan as a babyface.
He was young, clean shaven. His image was his Father was from Boston taught him hard days work and grateful for everything you get,be salt of the Earth and humble . Which was opposite Austin Idol bleach blonde hair, ladies man, from Las Vegas Flashy Arrogant Personality. Great fued.

Wight was super loyal to Vince. I was really surprised to see him jump ship.

Side note: I've had a chance to see Paul and follow him since high school. He signed to play college basketball right down the street from where I live. He couldn't play basketball worth a crap but he was always the biggest man on the court.

Makes sense, Big Show and Jericho have been real friends for a long time

It certainly makes sense when wrestlers who can't really wrestle anymore still need to get paid somewhere. While WWE brings in their largest single recruiting class of new talents ever, AEW signs yet another former wrestler to a big contract to add to its collection.

It might eventually click like the NWO in WCW
