You spouting the nonsense. I don’t underestimate Brady.

What’s funny is how sure most people were that his career was finished..

Now everyone has the opinion I had a year ago when he was entering FA.

Now suddenly everyone just knew this Bucs roster was so talented.. Truth is they probably don’t make the playoffs again without Brady..

Like I said a year ago.. When Brady walks through that door standards change.. The Bucs are proof of that.

As terrible as they were Pre-Brady I think everyone is using bigtime hindsight to discredit the impact he would have here considering a lot of people had Dallas as one of the best teams coming into the season and Tampa was an afterthought.

Brady knows how to get rid of the ball quick to avoid sacks. And you saying Brady wouldn’t last behind our line is also an opinion.

Exactly.. Brady has played behind his fair share of bad OLines.. He is a master at getting rid of the ball. You’d have to be to play at his age.

LOL. I love when fans pretend their fan boy players have all the leverage.

No other team can offer Prescott what he has here. The biggest stage in the NFL with a fake front office delusionally devoted to him.
all this and more...except I am not sure they are being delusionally devoted to him. We really don't know what kind of qb he is to be honest. Inflated numbers? Possibly...give him a couple of seasons with a healthy OL, and normal RB we can then discuss. I can argue that all these top QB's in the league are putting up inflated numbers, due mostly to the strength of the teams around them. You cannot value Mahomes, Allen, etc, on their teams because they have a strong supporting cast. How then can we really value Dak at this point in the same way?

The difference is the top QB's are going to the playoffs and having success.

Dak is just beating up on bad teams.

Our offense was better when he did less and had the OL and Zeke running the show.

The criteria a lot of you have for Dak to be good is a criteria that a lot of QB's would be good in.

Ryan Tannehill for example.. Get him out of Miami and ask him to come to Tennessee and play in a situation like you suggest.

Suddenly he goes from "he sucks bust" to... Is he a borderline elite QB?

Dak is not a guy that carries teams. Spend the money on the team and let the Dak's of the world walk.

He needs to go play in Pittsburgh and we need their picks. It's a better move for everyone involved.

Brady had an OC that also built a system for him to get rid of the ball quickly. How many slow developing routes are in the Patriots offense? 0? How many are in the Cowboys playbook? All of them? lol. Even when Dez was here. I am sure you and I were both screaming at the TV to let Dez run a freaking slant for once so he could utilize his YAC ability. However, Garrett had his system and was so arrogant he wouldnt change it. Can we at least agree on that?

in the end we aren't winning games with him, and because our D was so horrid this year he was behind in every game and had to toss the ball 50x to put up points. How can you blame him having to do this? Tannehill is a game manager, and put him with the Titans with Henry and it's a perfect fit, right? Not really, because they have no aerial game. Dak is not Mahomes or Rodgers, but put a good D on the field and a consistent ground game he makes a difference. This teams issues are all on our D, and until it gets fixed it won't matter who is our QB...

Many dozens of Dak threads, and several new ones every day.

The one common theme is that the anti-Dak crowd finds material to support their cause and the pro-Dak crowd does the same.

You can look at the name of the OP and already know what the slant of the content will be without even watching/reading it.

Dak lost one offensive lineman and made a spare defensive end from Atlanta look like the second coming of Lawrence Taylor.
That was his first time playing without Tyron Smith and Zeke. I love how you make it seem like he lost Cory Proctor and not a HOF Left Tackle. How does Dak get the blame for Chazz Green being a pylon and Jason Garrett not giving him any help on the left side? You people are ridiculous. Mahomes lost his RT and sucked. Guess the Chiefs should cut him.

They could've used other QB's as leverage.. They could've had serious negotiations with Brady.

They also could've used the tag that allowed other teams to negotiate with him.

Instead they just franchised him.
Then Brady signs elswhere and you are completely ******

I love you my dude, but Im definitely not calling yoy next time Im in a salary negotiation lol

There were several options and not only that there is tag where a team has to trade us their picks if they can negotiate a contract and we chose not to go that route as well.

Dallas has bid against themselves.

Brady would have been the only decent option I saw. Unless you think Bridgewater, who Carolina is ready to move on from, was a good option

blah blah....excuse....mumbo.....jumbo....dissemble...excuse...excuse....blah....blah.

Dak has never proven himself to play without a fairly stacked team around him - NEVER. Loses his RB, oh he needs a RB, loses left tackle......we need a pro-bowl left tackle, he needs WR's that can get separation.....now it's he needs a defense. On and on we go with everything he needs yet this guy wants elite money. It's like a chick who is a 5 demanding that she get Brad Pitt as a husband.

Honestly it wouldn’t take much for me to move on from Dak and that contract.

I think there is a lot of guys who get us to the same place he does with this team.

I mean Bridgewater beat him in 2019 and won several games with the Saints while Breese was out..

QBs like Bridewater and Dak are only as good as the team around them and will get similar team results.

Why do we need to 20 million more for Dak when Teddy will get us to the same place?

Depending what the 5 can do in the boudoir she may get Brad Pitt.

And he doesnt need a pro bowl LT. He needed a warm body. Chazz Green wasnt that. Dak was missing Smith and Collins and was putting up 30 plus points a game. But then youll say its garbage time bla bla bla. See. I can do it to.

So true and well said! I’ll say what I did months ago..I don’t get the vitriol because the truth is always in between and like you said there are great arguments on both sides. Top of my head

Pro-Dak: Leader; teammates love him; had saved us with his legs many times, plays hard 4 quarters; is arguably Top 10 QB with still a high cieling to many; good QBs don’t grown on trees.

Anti-Dak: Excuse me if this is slightly off but no team wins a SB when a QB is more than 13% of cap..he’d be 22% with numbers we are hearing; has wilted in some big games(Philly); puts up stats when either losing big or against bad teams; hasn’t taken us too far; not Top 3-5 guy so why pay him #1.

Those are just a few randoms without deep diving and EVERY single argument can be shown as fact or have some backing. That doesn’t make a hater or lover. Honestly I see only the same few who are dug with in and in these usually

I say tag and trade if he doesn't sign. He isn't a Manning or Brady type that is irreplaceable. Might liven up a few of those that are coming up on contracts as well with the extra cash available.
