I seriously doubt it..... he sucked his first year. showed a lot of immaturity his second year. he showed a flash here and there, but was very inconsistent.....this is his last year in Dallas probably.

He sucked his first year because he played 3 all through camp and preseason and then, suddenly, he's thrown into the 1 spot.

You clearly weren't watching if you have anything to say about his immaturity. Particularly in his 2nd year. Dude fell asleep in a meeting where Isaah Thomas was a guest. Old folks were all up in arms! Very likely Hill had no idea who it was as Thomas retired 4 years before Hill was born.

...I have more doubts than possibility. I feel he'll end up a splash player. Probably a little better then Crawford.

You only to make it halfway around the corner to get paid here.
..lol.. sure, looks that way. Oh, and dont have a big year on your ending contract. Regardless how you did in the past. Cause you'll hit Payday.

Will Trysten Hill turn the corner this year? Will be the player Marinelli foresaw or will he be a bust?
Trade him to Oakland. Marinelli just ran out of time in the personal contract he had with Hill. We will probably cut him soon.

IMO he showed signs early last year before the injury. I think we may have something with him. I'm not very worried about him. I think he will surprise.

What signs? This claim is overly exaggerated.

He was the only player we had early on, that was penetrating, getting off blocks, and getting into opposition backfield on occasion -before he unfortunately got the ACL tear vs Giants.

So he's showing great signs of improvement. Maybe he received more confidence in this coaching staff (even from the fired Tomsula) than what Hill did from
Marinelli, who lost confidence and sat him most of the season.

I tend to believe we saw that in Hill was advanced improvement and commitment-
Jury is out to how good he can be, and how much he will recover to previous form with that ACL knee. Let him stay healthy and we'll know by season's end.

When was that? There was like one or maybe two plays that he actually made and I believe one of them he was unblocked. Other then that, he got pushed around. "Advanced improvement"? Typical over exaggeration based on very little.

no lol u are either a dog or u arent and hill is not. he is soft and flaky and that will never change.

i just hope it is a lesson for jerry and stephen...draft football players who produce and wont get outwork by anybody not just draft the trait.

Idk.... I give him points for falling asleep during Thomas’s speech, personally.

his immaturity was also on the field, I didn't like when he did the twisty thing with the seattle RB....he also tended to be very up and down, seemingly taking some plays off.

I am not sold on him, unless he shows up 100% this off season and this season.....chuck it up to another bad defensive draftee

taco was garbage that literally showed nothing. I think hill is already better than that

You're probably right. I don't believe Hill is a lost cause. I just dont expect him to be what Marinelli was selling. It's not a fair assessment on my part, simply what history has shown me regarding the guys Marinelli pushed for.

Don't know which way he will go. Hopefully he has pride enough in himself to know he is being talked about as a bust, and can show more of what he started last year before the injury. I do believe he has some nasty to him, hence the rolling of the ankle of the running back he got in trouble for. He should be part of the rotation with Gallimore, put a big body (McNeil) next to him and they will do better.
Its one of the interesting stories to follow this year, can he deliver on the hope that many had for him. And what we missed out on cause Rod was sure he could get to this guy.
I have hope, but the reality is - if they take another 3-tech early, it is the writing on the wall. If they don't, well .....
