What does any owner have to do with a fan being a fan? Hell, Booger wasn't a fan until he bought it, at least Bright was a Cowboys fan that bought his favorite team, much like Cuban did.

I do not take shots at him as the owner or GM but as the celebrity seeking, spotlight searching self important awesome person I think he is. I do not think he is funny, I think he's clownish and lazy. Even politicians learn to speak if they're going to seek the stage.

There are some of us that are fans in spite of the ownership just like there are in DET, WAS and I imagine the Colts fans had to swallow big to get past Irsay's antics. Think the Pats fans were all on board with Kraft's idea of a Florida vacation?

He's not our boss, he's a POS.The fact remains, he's living off those 3 championships while not doing everything possible to be successful on the field. Is that how you operate your business? His track record and managerial decisions speak for themself. You don't just blindly follow someone into the abyss. It's ridiculous and Jerry's floating out there on a regular basis. In his own little world not giving a ratsazz about the fans. He cares about the "fan experience" cause it lines his pockets. What he doesn't care about is living up to that standard. You don't have to win the Super Bowl to do that. But you do have to care about the fans and the history and the product on the field and actually winning. Doing everything in your power for all those things. If you're not doing that, your employees won't respect you at all.

Yep, there’s a big difference between the owner of the Dallas Cowboys and your “boss”. Last I knew, none of us work for Jerry Jones. The argument makes zero sense.

I'm sometimes embarrassed to admit I'm a Cowboys fan because it may insinuate that I'm behind his buffoonery.

I don't care if they win the next five Super Bowls, he is still a terrible face of the franchise and will never not be.

Another great point. A LOT of us were “here” long before Jerry was. His lack of effectiveness should not dissuade us as fans. If it did, we would not have been fans to begin with.

Cowboys fans are as diverse as the world. You can love your favorite team in many different ways and express those feelings in many ways too. Like a family member, you can really love a team and still be disappointed or frustrated with them too.

I’m totally fine with how you express your fandom. You are a great fan, that’s easy to see. I hope you can see those fans who don’t express their fandom the same way as you do aren’t always “haters”.
