Foles had 2 great games, one mediocre game, and 3 bad ones. He's known for his inconsistency, but got hot at the right time. I agree, Eagles might not have even made the playoffs if he starts all season.
What Foles did was impressive. When he took over, those first 2 games he played in were AWFUL. I thought for sure Eagles were going to lose their 1st playoff game. That being said, the Eagles are the example of just get in the playoffs and now today, anything is possible. How many 1 seeds have been booted in their 1st playoff game? Unlike when I was a kid in the 80s, wildcard teams really had no chance at winning the SB. Today???? hell, they have just a good a shot as anyone.

So, we are comparing

Dallas---30 years: 0 NFC Title games , 0 SBs
Green Bay--only 13 years (11 w/ healthy Rodgers): 7 NFC Title games, 1 SB win

What am I missing here?

The only team out of 32 to make more conference finals in the Rodgers era has been New England

You are missing the lethal infection of extreme homerism that is common here.

IM no Dak apologist, but comparing

HUh?????? IM literally laughing at that. There are exceptions to just about everything. There is no way in hell Foles wins a SB with the Eagles if he was the starting QB the entire season. Fact is, Carson Wentz would have been the league MVP that year had he not been injured, so the Eagles were in great position when Foles stepped in and only had to win 3 games.

Regardless of that.... 80%.... look at the numbers 80% of the freaking time during Rodgers career the team that won the SB had a HOF (future) QB. Not sure how much more you need to see than those numbers.

The best proof ever was Brady going to the Bucs. Yea yea yea... tell me more about the great Bucs defense and how it carried them. That great defense had carried them all the way to dog crap the previous 15 seasons or so until Brady arrived.
I agree Wentz would have been league MVP that season if he played just one more game.

I'm unsure of the point you are making regarding Rodgers. Apologies maybe it's just me after a long day.

I agree Brady is amazing but come on, the Bucs D was awesome when it mattered in the play offs.

My point wasn't about Rodgers, but about needing a hof caliber qb to CONSISTENTLY be a team in the hunt for a SB title, as I pointed out that 80% of the SB winners during Rodgers career was a future hof qb.

Lastly, yiu think that amazing bucs defense would have still won a ring last year if they their previous qb under center last year? The one that never took that awesome defense to the playoffs.

You missed the point completely.

As far as the Bucs, yah, Brady went to a great team that just needed a QB. He didnt have the talent where he was at the end in New England. AGAIN............proves the point.

Rodgers alone will be the answer to this question if he doesn’t even appear in another Super Bowl.

For all the talk about possibly the greatest talent ever, he has been to a single one.

Wasting Romo, Witten, and Ware stings, but not as bad as that has to.
