Any reason this isn’t since 1990 or 2010? Why the cutoff at 2000 I wonder

This is about to change dramatically imo, we will be winning a good number of playoff games these next few years. Can't say we will go all the way, but we will be in the conversation.

Crap on my optimism all you want, but this is a good young roster.

Yep. We went over a decade without even one playoff win. We just spin our wheels. Each time we won a wild card game and flopped the next round (or flopped in the divisional round off a bye), that was just a building block and the next year is when we will see progress. Nope. Never that. The last time we even made the playoffs back to back years was 2006-07. Each with zero wins.

This franchise this millennium is the epitome of one step forward, two steps back.
Let's hope things turn around for us in this new decade and for year's to come.

I hope so but I have really gave up a ton of hope. I watch because football is entertainment for me and I enjoy it. Dallas does not have to win for me to enjoy an NFL season. But Jerry and his cronies have put a damper into my hope for Dallas.

How many winners in a 26 year period though?
0, and I’m sure that applies to most of the NFL. Still a bunch of teams that have NEVER won it all.

And you’re only choosing “last 26 years” because of a predetermined agenda.

Instantly makes me think of the lost and wasted years with Romo.

To have a QB like him and not take advantage of it by building a OL and defense to help him is criminal.
2007,2009 and 2014 were the only years that romo had everything he needed to make a championship run only to have a headcoach that could not get the the team playing the way it should have. the other years either by romo himself making mistakes and an awful defense the cowboys had no chance.

Hey.... go back to playoff wins since 1990. I know it doesnt support the numbers you want to project, but I prefer 1990.

"Schmidlap, I'm going to have to let you go. Your results for the last 25 years have been subpar. Anyone else would've been fired years ago."

"But boss, I led the companies in sales in 1992, 1993, and 1995. I just know I can do it again. How about I fire my assistants for the 7th time? Will that help?"

In the real world, no one gets just to justify keeping their position - while repeatedly firing underlings - based on accomplishments from 28 years ago. I know this real-life example flies in the face of your imagined defense of the Jones boys, but...
