Reading a statistic - viewing the words and numbers - comprehension leads to a subtle understanding.
Seeing a bold chart \ ghrapic..it feels like cold water thrown on your face, or being in a dark room and the curtains being jerked open - letting in the ultra bright sunshine.

@Blackspider214 Just glancing at the top, it sure looks like almost all those top teams had one thing in common: a really, really, really, really good QB.

Brady, Roth, Flacco, Rodgers, Wilson, Peyton Manning, Brees, and Mahomes.

Cowboys had Romo and Dak for a good portion of those years.

You think this might be why teams spend large capital on QBs?

Having only 3 playoffs wins since 2000 is bad enough.

The fact that nothing is beyond the Wild Card stage makes it even worse.

The ones who are haven't kept the same two guys making personnel decisions the entire time.

The 80s Cowboys weren't great and even they won 5 playoff games. The 70s won 14 and the 90s won 12.

Three in two decades is the worst stretch in franchise history.

The 1960s decade Cowboys went 1-5 in the postseason - but two of those losses were in the NFL Championship game.
