Let's say Dallas beats Tampa by 1 point. Someone goes up to Brady in the locker room and tells him his team had a moral victory. How do you think he responds? How do you think a 7 time SB winner and GOAT respond to being told his team had a moral victory? There's a reason why winners win.

Losing because of dropped passes, missed kicks and stupid penalties does fall into the "moral" category. It falls into the category of "you have to polish your game if you're going to beat the best" category.

I can hang with the team getting much better. The loss stings, but as long as they keep improving, I think they go much further. We beat ourselves this game. Of course, we played the Brady Bunch...

I'm less of a fan of the concept of "Moral Victory" in this context and more of a fan of learning from defeat so it won't happen again.

Just because we might have seen things to be hopeful about in a loss doesn't make it a "Moral Victory". It says there are parts there to make the machine work.

There are still clearly a lot of problems. Will they get fixed? Well, I certainly hope so. That doesn't mean I'm happy about the loss or feel any moral high ground for looking good against the Bucs.

Not admitting you're doing something right can be just as bad as not admitting you're doing something wrong. Fix the bad and make the good better.

The only victory last night belonged to the Bucs. I have seen multiple sources, including Skip Bayless, that are viewing the Cowboy’s loss as some kind of win. It is not. No way, no how. There was some bright spots that gives hope , but there was no win for the Cowboys. What has happened to the Cowboys and Cowboys fans? Has this once proud organization become such a failure that not losing in a blowout is seen as some kind of pathetic victory? It seems like the standards and expectations for this team sinks lower every year. Eagles , Giants and Washington fans must really enjoy seeing the Cowboys fans sinking this low. It was a loss and it would have been a really bad loss if Brady was playing well and not had the turnovers.
