Not really Dak gets called out by his critics constantly, I don't see them say the Cowboys, no it is constantly directed at DAK lost, Dak did not win can't beat a winning team.

Again I like Justin Herbert my comments are directed to the critics to put Herbert under the same microscope they put Dak.
How about we don't put either player under a microscope when we agree that microscope is stupid? We don't have to get sucked into that game.

QBs don't win or lose games, teams do. QBs are the most important individual players, but heck, they aren't even on the field for half the game.

The Chargers offense vs. the Cowboys defense looks like a pretty bad mismatch, given the personnel (all of them) who will be on the field Sunday.
The Cowboys offense vs. the Chargers defense looks like a little bit less of a mismatch, given the personnel who will be on the field.
It's also our second straight road game, which isn't great.
That's why I'm picking the Chargers, not because I think Herbert is better than Dak. But the game could certainly go either way. A 3-point spread seems about right.

-----Herbert is not better than Dak. The chargers may be a better team than the Cowboys.

WoW.....really??? There isn't a GM in the league (Booger excluded for reasons of pride) who wouldn't take Herbert over Dak right now.

Because Herbert isn't the Cowboys quarterback! Turn the tables & the haters would have Dak higher than Brady. It's their way of thinking.

Herbert is basically already where Dak is but it's not taken him 5 years in the league to get there. He came into the league there. That's why he was a top draft pick. He's better than most would have thought he would be.

Both guys can easily be considered top 10 QBs in the league.

First let me say I think Justin Herbert is a good young QB who should continue to learn and develop yet if you put him under the same microscope as Dak then it amazes me how Dak critics can be so high on Justin and acting like he is the 2nd coming of Tom Brady.

Fact is Herbert has never beaten a winning team his wins have been against the Jags, Jets, falcons, raiders, broncos and yes week 17 last year vs KC who did not play Mahomes or most of the starters and now he beat the Washington football team. Yet we are supposed to act as if Justin is some unbeatable QB? looks to be he has been beat many times himself and in Dallas would likely be mocked and attacked constantly

Cowboys did have their struggle on defense this past game vs Tampa and Brady a team who avg 30 points a game last season and won the SB to boot. Justin is not Brady and LA Chargers are not Tampa. Cowboys have a good chance of winning this game.
When Dallas loses again this week the story will be the same. Herbert > Dak

Probably because of age. I'd take Herbert over Dak but that doesn't mean he's better than him.

Herbert beats up bad teams and he's the goat huh lol? At the end of the day Chargers are a better team than Dallas and they are at home. Its going to be a uphill battle most Sundays if this defense can't get stops or get off the field on 3rd down.

At 4300 yards, 31 TDs and 10 INTs, Justin Herbert’s rookie season is already the greatest statistic season a Charger has ever had.

Couple that with the fact that it wasn’t even a full year (Tyrod Taylor opened as their starter), and it would be a bit of a disappointment if he didn’t finish 2021 entrenched as a top 10 QB in the NFL.

That’s my Dak microscope on Justin Herbert. Week 2 opponent is a legit gunslinger.

The greatest statistical season in Charger history belongs to Dan Fouts.
He threw for over 4800 yards and 33 TDs in 1981.

That's probably true, but it's because of age and contract status.
